Nothin' like kids being able to pull themselves up by their bootstraps. What next? Having to start at a Junior position at Goldman?
We're gonna play with toughness, we're gonna be responsible and we're gonna play with toughness. This is Michigan.
Yeah, because the University of Michigan is a cesspool of hardship and poverty.
I've decided to lay off the food for a while, and go on the booze.
When does the video once tell you to feel sorry for them ? I posted it on hear to show the rigors of balancing lacrosse and academics at a prestigous university, comparable to what will happen to Michigan lacrosse players and to show off the sport of lacrosse at an established D1 program...
Do you only watch videos or TV shows with the hopes that you will empathize or feel sorry for the subject? That is the new rating system for interest?

I don't feel sorry for anyone who receives opportunities in life, but I do think this video highlights the life of a student athlete in sports that are not as glamourous and revenue-generating as basketball and football. This is true at every school, and I imagine at Harvard it is magnified by the educational expectations placed on them. And while I'm sure some of them gain admission through connections and the like, my guess is that a signficant number of them are both great athletes and scholars, and that is to be commended, both at Harvard and at Michigan.
Point taken from you guys. The purpose of the video isn't really to have the viewer feel sorry for them. I'm a lax fan but I do like poking fun at the culture of the sport.
I played basketball on Court #2 at the CCRB for 3 hours a day, six days a week. Do I get a documentary?
Hmm, great comparison, pick-up basketball to High level division 1 lacrosse...i dont care if your being sarcastic, these kids work harder than you have in your entire life to get where they are now.
How could you possibly say that with any certainty at all?
Believe it or not, they also do work at other schools as well.
Go Blue!
I'm watching the video but it's gonna take a lot for me to empathize with or feel sorry for Harvard lax players. They are good athletes at a great school and each one of these kids looks like they just stepped out of a J.Crew catalog.
