A pretty good game just ended with a massive brawl. Can't say for sure who started it. But the Memphis guys didnt go outta their way to avoid conflict.

There was helmet swinging, busted and bloodied faces and a 5-on-1 of BYU guys ganging up on a Memphis guy.

not sure what you watched, but the first shot they showed on tv was that Black guy on Memphis running up behind the BYU guy and cold cocking him in the head then a boatload of memphis players started pounding him and stomping on him while he laid on the ground

You could've used a jersey number, but you chose race? Particularly the majority race on the team?

It's not like they have 113 white guys and 2 black players.

That was so beyond unnecessary. What the fuck is wrong with you?

And by the way, you're wrong. It started with a BYU player pushing a Memphis player who bumped into him when he celebrated.

A couple of those Memphis players should be expelled. Can't stomp and throw helmets at a guy on the ground getting pummeled.

Also, a wouldn't be surprised if a few BYU players got in some serious trouble just due to their code of conduct policy.

Weird for the Memphis players to start it. They won, need to show some class. Granted, it was pretty funny.

Any idea if huge penalties come out of this as it's a postseason game? Like how mcgary smoking pot resulted in a year ban bc it was a test during tournament.

The fight did not look good but it could have been much worse. At least the players didnt go and smoke some weed after the win. That would have been far far more dangerous to the players and would harm them much more.

Comical.  Earlier in the game the announcers were lauding these two mediocre teams saying what a great opportunity it was to get to enjoy themselves in Miami and get rewards for their hard work.

End up embarassing both of their schools.

Also, what is with all the cheap shots from 6'4 250 lb "tough guys"?  Seriously.  And look at C'sonte York's incident (to say nothing of Blount or the OSU RB hitting the girl in the bar).  I've been in a few scraps and witnessed a few, but I don't think I've ever seen as many cheap shots as are thrown by football players in almost every incident and brawl.
