OT: Max Domi (ex UM hockey target) Goal
I know some may remember Max Domi and his brief flirtation with UM's hockey team (http://mgoblog.com/content/all-right-max-domi-im-sucker). He ended up going the OHL route.
Anyway, he had an amazing goal last night playing for the London Knights:

To all the hockey fans: enjoy.

I've seen Max Domi often in the OHL and he is the real deal (as demonstrated in last month's no-contest of a World Junior Championship).
He would have been dominant at Michigan.

Couldn't agree more Clarkie. He will definitely be the more talented of the father and son.

Good memories there. He's not a bad guy when you meet him, either. Even if you are a Wings homer you can appreciate his toughness and moxie.

Saw him play at the U-17 tournament in Windsor a couple years ago. This kid is gonna be really good. There's a reason he was drafted by Arizona (I believe it was them) so early. Only wish we got to see him wear maize and blue for a year or two.
Larkin seems to be a lot like him. He's been fun to watch.

And go to allot of Knights games. Kid is fantastic all around. My Dad loves to go just to watch him play. Tough with heart like his Dad but with incredible skills.

I grew up in Aylmer. Favorite Knight growing up: Dino!
Who was your favorite Knight?

I wouldn't call him a target, he was supposed to be part of the class. We held a spot for him he never had any intention of taking.

unless you have some insider info. It always seemed to be "IF I go to college to play it will be Michigan", but no one really believed him when he said he would play college hockey.

He said he was coming to Michigan and there was a spot for him. Never a public commitment though. His dad fabricated a story about how he would not play in the OHL because they didn't want players taking runs at him because of his name, but he just didn't want to play for Kingston.
