OT: Masters Weekend

Submitted by BloomingtonBlue on

So we can move on from topics like how do we survive three days after a sports lost. Let's talk about one of the greatest traditions in sports. THE Masters. I grew up watching Tiger Woods and still remember him winning his first green jacket. I am biased as hell but I see him winning this weekend as well. Who do you have, the field, or Tiger? Either way Ill be enjoying multiple naps to the sounds and sights of the greatest golf tournament in the world, this weekend.

Wow. That's a lot of threads.

EDIT: Okay it's fixed. I always enter the Masters weekend thinking, I don't care to watch golf and then find myself watching all day Sunday.

Seriously though, prepare to get beat to shit, especially since you DARED to post a thread with only 109 points.

Edit: Saved by those magnificent mods.

Thank you for deleting the other two threads. I'm at work, it wasn't saving or creating the thread until it decided too, three times.

I'm taking Tiger this weekend as well. He loves the course and he's finally in control of his game again. If he putts like he has the past 2 tournaments, he will win.

I'd much rather just hear your opinion on the tournament. But, whatever floats your battleship.

I love golf and especially the Masters. I am recording the TV broadcast today and tomorrow, so that is what my evenings will consist of.

...root for even though we kind of knew he was an ass. Now that we know that for sure, I can't bring myself to do it. He does seem to have regained his form, so it's certainly possible that he'll don another Green Jacket on Sunday.

Where did you meet him Denver Rob? i've heard countless stories about him being an all time asshole. For some reason, I can't help but love him.

Once at the blue martini lounge before the Ryder cup at Oakland hills. I know he is a tremendous golfer and worth close to a billion before divorce but man a he is an ass.

Also my friend claims that his old caddie Steve took his camera while watching him on the driving range. I was not there to verify this story but have no reason to doubt him.

the field this year although I think Tiger will be in the mix on Sunday. I do think that Tiger will win a major this year and inch closer to Jack's mark of 18 majors.

I don't play golf nor do I really watch it much. But I make sure to always watch Sunday of a major. There's something about it that's just awesome. The amazing shots, the choke jobs, it's all there.

I'll be tuned in on Sunday.

I don't follow too much golf but have to go with Bubba. He's the local hero down where I live. More than likely it will be some no name that comes out of nowhere and wins it.
