So apparently sparty's official athletic website had the Georgia and Msu scores reversed during the game. A partner at my firm, who happens to be a Msu alum, was following the game on the site and thought they were losing the whole time. You should have seen the relief on his face when he found out they actually won.

The last thing I want to see is Tom Crean somehow beating the Shockers and advancing...

I'm guessing he's fired if IU loses this game given the shitstorm since last year.

Izzo may be an angry midget who channels the powers of Satan during the game, but at least he is in the tournament. Our hatred of the man on this site grows old.

Even the Tom Crean haters gotta be impressed with his coaching job this year. IU wasn't expected to do anything this season.

God damnit Michigan bball... next year... next year...

Edit: Correct me if I'm wrong, but Michigan will probably be the highest ranked and favored team in the B1G next year right given the depth the team has now?

State and UM should  be near the top. Not sure who else - a lot of departures for Wiscy and MD.  If Russell leaves OSU will hurt them obviously.

MSU loses Dawson and Trice but Valentine is a SR, Costello has really picked it up the last 10 games and will be a SR center, they get Eron  Harris who Beilein wanted as their 2 (ave 17 ppg at WVA) so that is a decent big 3.  They have a good PG who cant shoot well but does everything else well and they add Clark and Bess back as SO.  Bess never got a chance to really show this year with injuries.  They add a 5 star McDonaldls All American big man in Davis who willp lay the 4 in place of Dawson I assume, and then one of Beilein's targets that originally committed to SMU as a freshman. Getting Eron Harris was a huge get for them - instant offense.

They will be very competitive.

Off top of my head I think Iowa and Purdue both lose their best player.  Going to be another down year in the Big 10 IMO.

Bobby Hurley is a pretty good coach, maybe he'll coach Rutgers make them decent again. But first lose this game, so my bracket can last a little longer.

Wichita starting to gain a little separation. Already in double bonus as well.

Edit: IU's been within four or two points now for about five minutes. Shockers making their free throws.

So UC Irvine has a 7 foot 6 inch center in the game right now...just thought I would point that out...

Watching Louisville trying to rebound is hilarious

RT @BryanDFischer Crean! RT @dirkchatelain As horn sounded, Tom Crean looked at official Kipp Kissinger across the floor and said, "You suck."

Asshole alert.

Wasn't that a foul on Louisville?  They called the push in the corner at 9 seconds against UCI, sent UL to line.  That last play sure looked like a push, too -- defender got right in front of that UCI dribbler.  Y U NO CALL FOUL?
