OT: Mad Men
Thought I'd start a thread since I assume starting next week the focus will be on GoTs (at least in terms of discussion here).
Wonder how much we will see Megan this season , if at all? Will Sal make a surprise appearance?
I'm so excited for this. But unbelievably sad this thing is going to be over in a matter of weeks.
Excited for the last few episodes also. Although I feel like Weiner is going to disappoint us.
Just hoping for some more Bert Cooper visions
"He'll never golf again..."
That's what the doctors say.
You thought the final season of Boardwalk was disappointing? Damn, I thoroughly disagree.
"I know cooler heads should prevail, but am I the only one who wants to see this?"
OH HELL YES THAT'S A DOPE STACHE
If not for the forshadowing opening montage that would have come out of completely no where. Wonder if that character will end up back in some role beyond that scene.
Am I recognizing her from another show or am I like Don and can't remember her name?
Don seems to like to beginnings of things and Megan's kind of getting old for him. Too bad.
Nothing better than those Mad Men episode previews. I'm surprised Brady Hoke didn't have the athletic department cut up his interview videos in that form.
It really is somewhat comparable. Matthew Weiner absolutely does not want to do the episode previews, but AMC makes him do it. So he just turns in completely meaningless promos just to fill the time. As far as TV shows, Mad Men is just about as Fort Schembechler as it goes. The actors usually only get the parts of the scripts they're involved in, IIRC.
Roger's mustache. Unbelievable.
He got rich a third time and literally turned into the Monopoly Man (at least in that first scene).
All of them.
The episode was disjointed and weak. I hope they don't just mail in the final episodes.
