This may be discussed somewhere else, but all I've seen is that he was kicked out of LSU and that it wasn't a legal issue.  Of course, what counts as "legal" (i.e. drugs) might be misquoted here, since that was his last offense.

Either way, a loss for LSU and makes me wish he played for Alabama.  I don't think LSU will experience a massive drop-off because (a) I think he's more a system kid than other DBs, and (b) that LSU team has loads of defensive talent and can probably find someone 85-95% as good in-house.  But still a damaging blow so close to the season.

Wow. The kid was a lock for a top 5 draft pick, if not the #1 pick after this year. He may have just cost himself a few million dollars. He'll still get drafted, and probably with a high pick, but a whole year without him will give a lot of other kids a chance to shine while he'll get the same cloud cast over him Moss and Blount and Pryor did now.

Why you should take twitter and player social media comments with a grain of salt. All he did since the end of last season was talk about how hard he was working to get better and to stay in line. Comments such as (paraphrase): "I'm up at 6am grinding while fakes be sleeping after tweeting about grinding", "nobody works harder than I do", "greatness is earned through hard work, practice and focus.", etc. Entire time dude was blowing back dope. Basically, CFB players and recruits TALK OUT OF THEIR ASS. Avoid caring about what you read on social media.
