But it already happened, so that outcome can’t change. We’re better off in the computers if the team we lost to wins more games. So it’s not the loss that helps us, it’s the the team we already lost to having a better season.

RPI formula takes into account the quality of your wins, and the quality of the wins of your opponents. so the better everyone on our schedule does, the higher our RPI climbs.

A&M may fall out of the polls as they lost to Florida the other night as well. Still a good and needed win for LSU if they want to sniff the Tournament (and make our loss an acceptable one).
