OT- Lost Droid X
I recently lost my droid x and was wondering if the intelligent people here at MGoBlog have any idea how I could find it. I know there is a gps chip in the phone but when I went to verizon they said the phone must be on. Problem is that the phone died. Anybody know way to track it? I would enjoy being able to access this site from anywhere again.

You're gonna need a real good droid sniffing dog, or it's history

I am a Nigerian Prince and I have your phone along with 5 milllions euros in a undisclosed account however I cannot access it because of my visa restrictions. If you send me a check for $100 along with your personal info I can give you the phone and 2.5 million euros.
Deal?

I would just take 9 shots of Jack again and see if it leads you back to it. Either way, you'll feel better.

I can suggest what not to do. Don't employ storm troopers to find it for you, they'll never find the droid you're looking for.

In the future, the app Mobile Defense can help you track/lock down a lost Android phone.

This.
As far as I know, it's too late to locate the phone you had (unless Verizon can pull some big brother stuff), but if you get a replacement, install the Mobile Defense app and set your phone up with their website. At that point, you can log on to the site at any time and track your phone by GPS, or disable it if it was stolen.

Use the 'Find my Droid' feature.

there's an app for that.

... Timmy lost his Droid X! Can you see it? I bet these random people on a sports blog site can find it for him! It's the size of a flat brick and has some racy pictures of June Lockhart on it...
