Per KJR here in seattle.

Apparently Seattle wanted him to restructre, so he asked to be released.  Do we think the lions can land this guy?

Tom Kowalski said the Lions were aware that the Seahawks were going to release him, and they still chose to sign Tulloch. The Lions are done with signing LB's, but they may resign Carpenter if the price is right.

The Lions.  Dude... like... they might be pretty good this year.  It's been 3 seasons since I weened myself off the blue kool-aid.  But, alas, addiction is a disease.

Just shows how rough pro football can be on the body.  The guy was all-pro for multiple seasons and is only 28 years old, but now is viewed as expendable.  The injuries have taken their toll.
