OT - Lions vs. Eagles Open Thread

This one is going to be messy.  Huge blizzard taking place, probably favors the team who makes fewer mistakes (ie: not the Lions).

Conventional wisdom might that the passing game will suffer because of the weather, but I think a receiver has a big advantage here - he knows which way he's going in advance.  Much easier to move first than react.  Calvin could very well have a beastly game.

Drinking game from /r/NFL

Grab a mug of hot cocoa and prepare yourself for the Lions/Eagles Snow Ball Drinking Game!

-Whenever a player fumbles: Take a sip.

-Whenever a team punts: Eat a mini-marshmallow.

-If a pass is completed for a first down: Try to suck one of your mini-marshmallows through your straw.

-If a player makes a snow-angel in the end zone after scoring a touchdown: Down your hot cocoa and make another mug.

-If a snowblower/shoveler trips and falls on camera: Shoot hot cocoa out of your nose.

-Whenever the announcers make a Christmas song/movie reference: Ummm....drink more hot cocoa.

It'll be interesting to see if anyone gets away with penalties the refs simply cannot see. Play reviews could be shaky too. I love this weather. I played in this stuff. Seriously, it was a blast.

get frustrated by lack of results, they are having results. Just keep ging patient. The Eagles are going to have their own turnover and the way field position has been, it's going to be at an inopportune moment for them. Well, a more inopportune moment than the usual inopportune moment.
