Washington is awful, they have playmakers, and a mediocre O-line. Expect Schwartz to pressure Campbell on D, and move the pocket on O, in order to get Stafford away from Haynseworth and allow CJ to abuse their secondary.

My daughter was born at 8:38 pm on 12/23/07, approximately 4.5 hours after the Lions beat the Chiefs for their last victory. I was supposed to go to that game, but obviously was otherwise occupied. I still have the unused ticket for her scrapbook. I tell her that she is likely one of the oldest people on earth that have never been alive for a Lions win.

The NFL, IMO, has been lost on a generation of fans in this area. The last time the Lions were competitive was 10 years ago. The NFL is such a big deal to most people around the country, but I could really care less about it. Sure I watch the highlights like most, but without care for who wins. I have thought about this a lot over the past few years and I am just apathetic to the Lions. They will never win no matter who is drafted, coaches or even owns the team. Some entities are doomed to inevitable failure, and the Lions are just that. But hey, who cares about the Lions when they are posting on a Michigan board at a quarter to 1 in the morning?
