It was a damn good game. Great to watch a dominant D-line performance.
you read my mind. I was in the end-zone where Suh scored, and got a great look at a very impressive defensive line. Those guys were on Mcnabb all day long. If it hadn't been for that darn kick returner Washington would not have scored much at all.
Stafford was shaky in the early going, understandable since he's been out so long, but he was pretty good in the second half. Kinda reminded me of the MSU vs Georgia bowl game, where Stafford came out slingin' in the 2nd half.
saw second half online but have been wanting to see the 1st. thanks a lot for posting
Thanks for the heads up, missed the game on Sunday. I remember cheering for staford in the Capitol one bowl against MSU. Never thought he would be our qb, Same for suh in the big 12 championship game.
have a chance to go .500 this season. The next 9 games are favorable for the Lions. The only two games that I would consider an almost sure loss is the Pats and the Jets. The rest are very winnable for the Lions.
The replay will also be at 1:00 AM est. The Jets game is already sold out. Ford Field should be rocking. I have to admit, I am optimistic about the second half of the season for the Lions. If everybody stays healthy, the offense should keep improving and be dangerous. This is the best D-Line I have seen since Al "Bubba" Baker and the Silver Rush. Corey Williams is quietly having a very good season playing next to Suh.
The Lions play hard every week other than that Vikings game (I think). I was not pleased (given I am a Redskins fan and a victim of the Lions beatdown last Sunday) but I give them props, good work Sunday
Silly Shanahan putting Grossman in instead of McNabb
