OT: LA Rams fire Jeff Fisher
This should tone down the rumor flames just a bit don't you think?
EDIT: For anyone who could possibly misunderstand this post I posted a link to an NFL.com article on the Fisher firing. I DO NOT THINK HARBAUGH IS GOING ANYWHERE. I thought the sarcasm above was self-evident but apparently not so I'l repeat I DO NOT THINK HARBAUGH IS GOING ANYWHERE.
This is not a rumor thread. This is a thread about the firing of the Rams head coach.

I stated, VERY SARCASTICLY, that this should tone down the rumors swirlling around and even posted a Simpson's meme to point out the sarcasm.
But apparently that's not enough.

Greetings from snowy Cleveland. Might I humbly suggest a sternly written warning that those feeling compelled to perpetuate the myth that Harbaugh is “in play” for an NFL job? It just keeps the story alive and on the front page of Google which doesn’t help anyone in my opinion and unless you create a Harbaugh-rumor sticky my guess they will just keep reappearing like cockroaches once they’re taken down.

The extension happened months ago, before the season. It didn't become public until last week or so.
Still bad to extend and fire a coach in the same year, but it didn't happen over the course of 10 days.
