OT: Kindle Cases

Submitted by Double Nickel BG on

I have been looking everywhere with no luck so I am trying here. I received a Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 for Christmas and have been looking for a Michigan themed case since. I've tried every possible site such as Mgoblue store and others with no luck.

The closest thing I can find is a Amazon custom case but their requirements on the picture size are crazy. 2500x3500 and its best if its in portrait orientation. I've tried editing pictures but haven't been able to do the trick to get me a picture to use.

I am wondering if anyone has any idea of places that make a case like this or might be willing to help me acquire a picture to use. I'm sure there are others out there that have been looking for a case as well.

If mods deem this too OT, please remove. Thank You.

I think the MDen has a 7" case, so I'm sure they'll probably come out with the new one soon that has the appropriate toughness and physicallity.

I think there is a special Nuss Press Conference Case but it interferes with the volume on the Kindle...which is OK, because Kindles tend to frown on volume.

I would recommend going with Amazon's origami case, it's awesome. Just get the blue one, and buy a maize block M, and slap it on. You may have to cut the M in a couple spots to get it to fold, it should work and look nice.
