OT: Kevin Love coming back to Cleveland!
So much for the lure of LA. No great surpise but a relief none-the-less here in C-Town. Brian Windhorst just tweeted that Kevin Love will accept a five year, 110 million dollar offer from the Cavs. Said he has "unfinished business" in Cleveland.
I hope Lebron, Shumpert, and JR all leave just to LOL.
didnt burn his jersey in the streets yet right?
to L.A.!!"
I didn't know that this was a Cavs blog.
It's not. It's an apparel blog but I did put OT in the title so anybody hoping for more discussion on Nike V Adidas wouldn't be fooled.
congrats MGO.
As a Cavs fan, I'd say you got all of that one in your response..
People are so whiney! It's the offseason, you gotta let it go.
Just checked your posting history to see if you also posted stuff like this in the Women's World Cup and Anthony Davis contract threads. You did not.
However, I'd like to thank you for your vigilance on this matter, and formally request a follow-up including a full list of all the other things this blog is not.
Best,
BostonWolverine
Ceci blog n'est pas une pipe.
Good for you and the Cavs! This is great. Nobody wants to go to LA and they are quickly becoming the Oakland of the NBA. I hope Russell ends up being a big turd so the Lakers and Buckeyes both look bad.
As much as I want to root for MGrowolds mental sanity and and he Cavs redemption story, the Spurs are lining up a ridiculous squad next year especially with Lamarcus Aldridge....
Not to mention the Heat are making some decent moves along with the Knicks and Hawks in the east...
Anyone who roots for "Cleveland's redemption story" is a sap. It's fun to have always-losers in sports. Cleveland checks every box.
It's fun unless you happen to root for the always losers. Then it pretty much sucks.
Hey man. I enjoy Wrigley Field just fine.
Cubs are the "lovable losers". Besides a few misplaced Michigan fans, Cleveland is anything but "lovable".
They can take their backwards visors and Kosuke Fukudome t-shirt jerseys and shove them up their ass.
...and a Cubs fan responds. At least they know their place in the pecking order.
Damn Straight. We're #1. Back-to-Back* World Series Champs.

I'm a Philly sports fan. Cut me some slack. The Sixers GM thinks he's a genius and is taking tanking to new levels. The Flyers gamble on the Schenn brothers failed miserably. The Phillies have been floundering since 2010 due to Amaro Jr's incompetence.
Finally Chip Kelly is also a so called genius that is leaving everyone and their mother scratching their heads.
I'll cling on to any feel good sports story I want thank you haha
Cleveland exists primarily to make Detroiters feel better about ourselves
the Lakers help the Spurs?
Is there ever a year in which you Lakers fans DON'T think you're going to sign every star free agent?
Lakers didn't make strong impression in Aldridge meeting, sources say. Spurs can close on him. LMA expected to make decision fairly soon.

Don't believe everything you read...one of the papers in Houston today said Harden and Westbrook want to play together in LA (and not on the Clippers) after next year.
The Lakers apparently pitched everything BUT basketball to Lamarcus Aldridge LOL...
If you guys don't land a big man, epic fail.
Should've just drafted Okafor and signed Rondo's bum ass.
Would've also given us D'Angelo ... instead of 3 fucking centers...
:(
Damn it Mitch!
The thing is much of the Spurs success lies in the old bones of a few guys. Duncan and Parker are near the end and if they can't play at a really high level the Spurs are just another team.
He played bass in the Beach Boys, right? Or was it drums?
Those who stay
....wil make it to the Finals.
and then get beat by the Western Conference.
Yes, that was my subtle point, I guess too subtle.
If they stay healthy idk who in the west can beat them
...will continue to lose championships...because this is Cleveland and they can't have nice things...just Johnny Football.
Maybe now they can incorporate Love into the offense, instead of making him a piece of furniture.
The sad thing about this year's playoffs is that in the Boston series they finally DID incorporate him into the office. Hell, in the game before Jesus tried to rip his arm out of the socket, Lebron hit him not once but twice in the final minute of play for 3's to put the Celtics away.
I agree with you that he needs to be more involved.
True. GS showed what the blueprint for winning basketball is now. Small ball. Speedy guys 6'9 and under, 4 out- 1 in styles of offense. Thats what Cavs need to become.
Having every team you play's starting point guard out with injury is a pretty good formula too. Golden State's offense is either really good or terrible, kind of like ours when we aren't hitting our outside shots. I would still rather have a guy that can take someone 1 on 1 any play.
Golden State's road to a title was pretty fortunate like you said. The West also wasn't as tough come playoff time.
I won't be surprised when they lose early in the playoffs next year.
from the Love expert. ((wink))
Well hello, gorgeous

My eyes are in permanent rolling mode.
Cool story bro.
THE G STANDS FOR GETS
I normally don't mind posts cause a static page is...well, static. But honestly, who gives a fuck about what kevin love and clevland are doing?
For you MGrowOld.
Thank you Moe.
More breaking news here. Reports coming out that the Cavs are about to sign Tristin Thompson to an 80MM extension later today as well.
Next up - Shump.
