OT - Kevin Durant is the Man

Kevin Durant seems like such a great kid and may well be the youngest player ever to lead the NBA in scoring. Good luck to him!
I made a bet with a buddy before his NBA draft that is the best bet I have ever made. Loser pays for an all expenses (no gambling or strip clubs) trip to Vegas 10 years after their draft.
I bet that Durant would be better than Oden.
He took the other side.
I'm not cashing this check quite yet, but it's looking pretty good for me.
And, needless to say, I'm a huge Durant fan.
When the time comes, make sure he doesn't book the flight with Spriit Airlines....
Kevin Durant > Lebron James
It's too early to say, but it could happen. I do think Durant is a better outside shooter than Lebron.
Durant is very good .. but LeBron averages 30 points and could very well be the best passer in the game .. thats what separates him from the rest .. passing
While this does sound crazy now (because it is), in the future this could easily be a legit argument.
If Lebron chooses the wrong team this summer and the Thunder keep their young squad in tact, this could happen. Imagine a ringless LeBron versus KD with one ring or more. Rings matter most for the leaders of a team, right?
Of course KD will never have the assists LeBron does, but LeBron will never have the shot that Durant does.
I've liked him a lot ever since he was a star at Texas. He's definitely one of my favorite NBA players.
I actually had the pleasure of meeting Kevin Durant and got his autograph his rookie year in the league, I've been a huge fan of his since his days at Texas. A great guy, extremely down to earth and really appreciative of his fans, glad to see fellow wolverines rooting for him as well
I was also asked by a buddy of mine who I would take between Oden and Durant. I thought at the time that Durant was a no brainer while he thought Oden would be a better NBA player. Think the Trail Blazers are second guessing themselves now? In defense of the Blazers, they do need a post presence more than another combo guard, but Durant does multiple things well.
in a skinny power forward's body. And I say 6'10 1/2 because he has gained an inch and a half since he entered the league. He dribbles and shoots like that of a point or shooting guard and he's still growing! Great mindset, nice guy, complete anomaly. This kid will go down as one of the greats, imagine him at 27-28 years old! Have fun in Vegas man!
What a great kid. He should be a fun one to watch for the next 10-15 years. I can't wait to see how much better he becomes in the future.
The guy is a flat out beast, the thing is he is still really young so he could end up being special.
