Hi my name is Rich Rodriguez.  In 2008 my offense sucked, but now in 2010 we have one of the best in the country.  Nobody else is capable of doing this.

I honestly, in all my ND hating heart, cannot see how the head coach of the football team is the most directly responsible person for that tragedy. I mean, a serious investigation needs to be done, and certainly, the previously unforeseeable occurrence needs to change how EVERY team handles the use of mechanical lifts by volunteer cameramen and women, but to act like this is somehow BKs fault is kinda ridiculous from what I've read so far. This could have just as easily happened to any team who happens to film practices from above. Including us, if we do so.

So who is responsible for the kid's death? I live near South Bend and someone on the ND staff should have told him to get down (even better: don't go up there in the first place!). We can't leave it up to a 20 year old's judgement in deciding what is considered safe and/or necessary.
