that Wells has been dismissed. Just said after dismissing Carter, they announced Wells is gone. It may be inferred, but shouldn't be assumed.
then you don't get to play.
No different than any other student.
You gotta go to class.
No where does this article say that academics were the issue.
it was a part time thing, done through Life Skills
I'm getting so sick of these dipshit comments about lifeskills. It's a charter school for kids with problems keeping up academically, there should be more of them and you shouldn't knock on kids who go there. Tate was HOMESCHOOLED. So tell me, who has more credibility... Lifeskills, or Mrs. Forcier teaching Tate algebra while he's in his PJ's eating lucky charms?
...I logged in just so I could +1 your comment.
I have nothing against Lifeskills or kids who end up there, however, Lifeskills to Michigan is not something that should happen except in some rare, rare circumstances, and running around with a loaded weapon getting into mischief as a 14 year old, is not one of those rare, rare circumstances.
I think your critique is null and void when you mention that he was just 14 years old. One mistake at 14 shouldn't haunt you the rest of your life.
Is that so?
This is just a plain old transfer. He was passed on the depth chart by Melvin Fellows (RS Freshman) so he decided to try elsewhere. He wasn't kicked off the team.
Seems like Wells just decided to transfer. However, I did see that RB Roderick Smith hasn't arrived on campus yet, and may not be qualified academically. He was a very highly regarded player in the 2010 class.
was not "dismissed" Way to flame a rumor that you just started. He chose to transfer because of playing time. Carter on the other hand, just didnt cut it.
Gotta clear roster space for contributors. That's Buckeye family values...
... tressel just gave up on him and he knew it, this is just me speculating but he was a reserve his freshman year, and they redshirted him his sophmore year. ive never seen that done before but im guessing he just didnt make any progression in the offseason and they had no use for him anymore
