Really, I don't get the Lively thing at all. Lima is stunning, but all those Brazilian super models are beginning to get interchangeable; you'd take any of them but maybe not know which one you were with. Beckinsale is fighting words though. She could be in my pantheon anytime.

As a happily married man, this answer is purely hypothetical. (Actually, unless any of you are MVP winning pitchers, it is purely hypothetical for all of us.)
If you choose option 1, every time you got into your old car you would think of "the weekend." You would love that car, no matter how crappy it might be. You could be the only person in the world drivng a 1980s Yugo and loving it.
If you choose the car, you would spend three years thinking about how you blew the most obivous decision of your life. Every time you started it would be a reminder that you are a fool. You would probably get rid of the car after six months because it would remind of what could have been.
