OT - Kate Upton Getting Her Own Baseball Card
The article says that for the first time in about 100 years, Topps will feature non-athletes on baseball cards. Kate is one of a few with Michigan ties. She is known to be a Michigan fan by this point. Michael Phelps is another and everybody's favorite fake-Buckeye Kirk Herbstreit is also getting one. Click link for complete list.
I don't know how many of you still collect baseball cards, but some of you parents now have an excuse ot screen the packs you buy for your kids.
How the hell is Kirk Herbstreit a "fake buckeye" when he was a four year letter winner?!
I imagine I have seen him/his family in public and didn't even realize it was him. Nashville is pretty relaxed place in terms of celebrities; I'm glad that he's here.
My son goes to med school at Vandy, and my wife and I visit fairly often. Nashville is a terrific place to spend time and leagues better than Columbus on just about any level you can name,
As for Kate Upton and baseball cards, come up with a couple of dozen different cards showing her in an assortment of good poses, and I am back in the card game after decades of being away.
Heard Kirk Herbstreit was dogging us. He a fake buckeye. Fake as hell.

I would be a little alarmed if the median OSU fan sided with Pryor over Herbsteit on this one.
I think you're giving the median OSU fan way too much credit.
"Mirror, mirror on my 15th 'loaner' car, who is the fakest Buckeye of them all?" - TP
Just makes it all the more hilarious that he helped his school land a bowl ban while Kirk is still a decent guy.
We are all Kate Upton "fans" but I'd be surprised if anyone wanted a trading card with her photo on it., even with a signiture included.
NSFW or certain mgobloggers who don't care for videos of Kate doing the cat daddy in bikinis:

Kate will definitely be the hottest women ever included. ;)
LOL...Scroll down and read that guy's comment at the bottom. "I wouldn't touch her with a pole"...right
Your pole would be doing the fucking jack hammer...
'bout time.
What's a baseball card?
Sincerely,
POGS, Beanie Babies, and other worthless "collectibles"
Unless, of course, you get drunk while staring at one.
...Kate Upton GIF baseball card, I'll buy it. Still shots just don't do her justice.
Maybe it'll be on of those "moving images" cards where the picture "moves" when you change the angle...
They could go the old school route like the Kellogg's 3D baseball cards...

*wipes up drool*
Topps version of "jumping the shark"?
That already happened awhile ago, when card collecting became all about impossible-to-find insert cards ("One in every 68 packs! Collect all 50!") and the other 99% of the cards you could get in a pack were crap.
I don't quite understand the reasoning behind this
if there was ever a reason to make a scratch-off baseball card, kate upton would be it.
Sorry. I love Kate as much as the rest of America. However, a baseball card is just that. I have fond memories of using my rookie Johnny Bench card, a clothes pin, and a 20" 5 speed with an 8-ball shifter. It was 1975.
Later I learned that Bench's card was worth about $75. But that was the fun of collecting those cards. Sorry Kate, I love you but you have to go.
I must say I am shocked (disappointed?) to not see the glorious .gif posted in this thread. I thought it was a sure thing when I saw the title.
