OT: Justin Bieber Roast
March 30th, 2015 at 11:25 PM ^
Jeff Ross, to his credit, destroys on these things. He made some amazingly offensive and funny jokes tonight. I'm having a blast watching this.

I was always really enjoyed the late Greg geraldo at these roasts
March 31st, 2015 at 12:29 AM ^
Yep me too. These got me into his stand up which is tremendous. Along with Patrice O'Neal.

His wife/girlfriend is raising money for a feature length documentary on his life/career titled "Better Than You". Something to check out if you are a fan.
March 31st, 2015 at 12:57 AM ^
already donated to the movie. Better Than You will amazing. BTW, check out "Woman Aren't Funny"
"Woman" Arent Funny?? Are you making fun of Vos because he can't say Women??
lol Vos can't say anything right
so of course I had to do it
I just watched a youtube clip of all Giraldo's roasts combined (about 50 minutes) this past weekend. He is brilliant. Nothing out of bounds.
Only guy similar of late is Anthony Jeselnik but he hasnt done the past 2 roasts which is too bad. I think he might have had a falling out with comedy central as he had a tv show on there that seems to be cancelled.
Gottfried is hit or miss but when he is on, he is ridiculously funny. And Lampanelli is a riot.
I am not as high on Ross as some others - he is not as consistently funny in my book but I'll check out this one later this week and see how he did.
Can't believe they've only done 1 roast since 2012 until this one - James Franco of all people.
Can't stand Jeselnik or his horrible gf Amy Schumer. Both god awful imo. Jeselnik couldn't even carry his own show for more than a year and a half. Schumer is just not funny and is a 2 face hypocrite.
ugh.
what is she a hypocrite about?
Her SteveO beef that she started.
Didn't like Jeselnik though.
Was the best. Fuck Dennis Leary

They cut some of Jeffs jokes.."Justin you drive worse than Paul Walker..too soon? too fast? too furious?" I read that Ludacris wanted it removed and they did
March 31st, 2015 at 12:41 AM ^
ludicrous and the Jenner girl threw a bitch fit about a few jokes and got them removed.
March 31st, 2015 at 11:24 AM ^
Why would that Jenner girl have any pull with anyone? She's a pretty generic looking model and not anywhere close to being as hot as the Kardashian girls.
I'm not sure but I think her and Ludacris threaten to walk off during the taping because of the jokes. I know a few jokes about her were cut out
March 31st, 2015 at 12:03 PM ^
Nothing is off limits.
I say get actual comedians instead of celebs to do the roasts.
March 31st, 2015 at 10:12 AM ^
Jeff Ross once when he was an an USO tour in the Pacific when I was stationed in Japan. He was as funny in person as he is on TV...very relatable guy and quick to snap a picture if you want.
March 30th, 2015 at 11:32 PM ^
Watching Martha right now...wow. I think Natasha Leggero was great too.
March 30th, 2015 at 11:33 PM ^
Natasha Leggero & Jeff Ross are my favorites. It is almost the roast of Kevin Hart. I have never cared who they get they are always good.
March 31st, 2015 at 12:29 AM ^
I agree. This is exactly what I was going to post.
March 30th, 2015 at 11:36 PM ^
Natasha killed and everyone else sort of was ok. Not enough actual comics. It is always uncomfortable to see the celebrities try and read jokes someone else wrote for them.
March 30th, 2015 at 11:40 PM ^
Pete Davidson was hilarious. but yeah, you can tell the same group of writers came up with a lot of this stuff. The JB wants to be black thing got old. the rest was funny though
March 30th, 2015 at 11:52 PM ^
Davidson was solid. The comedians are always so good. I just can't deal with the celebrities because it is painful. The jokes are good, but would be so good coming from a comedian with timing.
I love this guy! He is doing a great job on Saturday Night Live and did an awesome job here. He is hilarious.
March 30th, 2015 at 11:39 PM ^
everyone has been so damn good. I wish the sets were longer.
I bet they editted a bunch of stuff out. I wanted to hear more. These roasts are really well done. Great job by the roasters!
March 31st, 2015 at 11:11 AM ^
NOTHING should be edited it is a roast. If you are on the dias or in the audience you are fair game and should understand such as the fair price of admission. Short of burning an American flag nothing is off limits at a roast and how could any Jenner get someting silenced?
March 30th, 2015 at 11:40 PM ^
I thought this was going to be iffy based on the roasters, but it's actually been hilarious. Great TV.

Snoop has smoked 4-6 blunts so far.
Did he died?! Someone better be careful or he might overdose on the marijuana. Remember, it's a Schedule I drug with no medical benefits according to our all-knowing overlords at the DEA, in Congress, and in the White House.

Might want to take a step back. You could burn your house down with a take that hot.
who negged this post?
March 31st, 2015 at 12:08 AM ^
They're roasting a 21 year old?
I miss the good ol' days of comedy...
March 31st, 2015 at 12:17 AM ^
I had his and Robin Williams' albums memorized, word-for-word. Man, am I glad my parents never caught me listening to them!
March 31st, 2015 at 12:42 AM ^
Eddie was only 22 years old when he filmed Delirious.
True, though this screenshot is from Raw.

Please you tube Sam Kinison.
I saw Sam in his last concert (Holiday Star Theatre in Indiana) before he was hit by a car while changing a tire. Years later I met the comedian (name escapes me) that opened for his show at Stanfords in Kansas City who's entire career took a side turn when the opportunity to open for Sam on tour ended.
Sam was the most irreverent and funniest I have ever seen in person however Don Rickels is the God Father.
Dean Martin Celebrity Roast-Incredible.
Syd Ceaser Show of Shows if you want an education.
Sam's take on the Ethopian famine (yes a horrid subject) was probably one of the best bits in comedy of all time.
represent the "old days" of comedy. Particularly when it comes to a roast.
March 31st, 2015 at 12:25 AM ^
that Ann Frank joke was hilarious!! big props to Kurt Metzger and Rich Vos too for writing a lot of the material
Martha Stewart tore it apart!

why was martha stewart so funny?? did not expect that
I haven't watched it yet, but I assume much of her material was written for her by the writers.
but celebs get theirs written by writers hired for the roast.
he didn't look like he had more than 2 minutes of fun.
They are good friends and Ludacris was featured in one of Bieber's early music videos.
