for Illinois, since it seems like they're making fun of the state as much/more than the school. This was a disappointment since we don't have a lot of meth labs up in our neck(s) of the woods, so I'm hoping Northwestern is really good.
Go Blue!
I mean they could have done a ton with Illinois. First off, Champaign smells like cows. Also, soybeans, soybeans everywhere.
How are they going to make fun of Northwestern? Private school? My guess is OSU has the best fake set.
"Over? Did you say, over? Nothing is over until we decide it is!"
If I had to foster a guess, I'd say OSU's will predominantly feature tattoos, a pseudo-Illustrated Man concept if you will.
The swag is back.
Given how BHGP views jNW, I'm sure they've got something they've been working on for a while.
I'd say that I enjoyed the Wisconsin gloves more than anything I've seen so far. A chart showing whether you should "go for one" or "go for two" when you are up 3TD+ was a hilarious slam on Bielema.
As for best to come, probably Ohio because they could do so much with all of the allegations they had during their scandal. I'd imagine they would do tattoo sleeves for part of the unis. PSU's scandal can't really be touched, so it will be interesting to see what they do with their traditional/plain uniforms.
Are these for real? I mean half these jerseys are mild in comparison of Maryland or what the Ducks roll out. Think Bold!
That is pretty sweet. We agree on something, perhaps the start of a new era on mgoblog.

Did I miss where you two were notoriously at odds over everything?

Oh, my son. You have much to learn. The Butterfield/Section 1 feuds have been going on for many generations. It all began when Butterfield's ancestors wanted a milk field, but Section 1's ancestors said, "No, you will have butterfield!" This made Butterfield's ancestors very angry. And so they have born the mark of their disgrace for many moons. And so the bad blood runs thick between them.
Illinois should use that design for real. It's much better than any of the bland helmet designs they've been using.
This one was pretty dumb. I don't know that IL is particularly known as a hotbed of meth production. Maybe I'm just sheltered up here in Chicago.
If you look at the DEA map of all meth lab incidents, IN, TN, KY, MO, and OK all have WAY more than IL in 2011. Looking at 2010, add AL, MS, AR, and MI (sorry guys) to the list.
Also, if you look at incidents per capita, IL has an incident for every 22,227 residents, while IA has an incident for every 8,059 residents.

IL has Chicago...IA has Davenport. That stat is a bit misleading in this case.

This is a map of Illinois, which you are in. On the boarder of Iowa, which is where Davenport is.... 22 MILES away. You're in the wrong state, get yourself a new map.

Chicago has nearly no meth lab incidents and yet has ~75% of the population of chicago within the metropolitan area. So just making very, very rough estimates that's actually one per 6K in rural illinois. In reality, it's probably similar to Iowa's values.
I'm from a small city in central/western illinois that had a population of 40K. We had a SWAT team who's one job was meth lab seizure.
My dad had a patient who was arrested with >3 million in cash in his house from selling primarily to my high school. The great majority of kids had free/reduced lunch (80-90%) and the median household income was 30k. That's a ton of money from kids without any money.
My 6th grade teacher taught us what ingredients you need for making meth as people used to make it in her backyard.
Outside of chicago, meth is big in illinois.
This one is "meh", in my opinion, although a full-face respirator is an innovative safety enhancement for Division I football regardless, and if someone would like to paint the exterior of my house wearing this, that would be pretty cool, I must admit.

Hilarious.
I have to admit, Minnesota is frickin' sweet. My prediction: the MSU version will have something to do with the raging penis envy they have for a certain B1G colleague.
I got a letter from the government the other day . . .
I have to think they're saving the best for last... with Iowa, Indiana, Michigan, Nebraska, Wisconsin,Minnesota, and now Illinois off the table who do we think the Best/Last will be?
Penn State? MSU? Ohio? I doubt they've got anything great lined up for Northwestern or Purdue...
