Denard Robinson on BTN in "The Journey"
K-State vs. Delaware in the other NIT Semi
M vs. Pitt
Also, drinking thread for those of us not heading out or heading out later:
An ice cold Labatt Blue for me.
How many have you had so far.
0.5... it's early after all. Did my post sound drunk?
Is Pitt headed for another down year this year or are they in for a nice turnaround season?! I can see Michigan taking them back behind the shed tonight, regardless; they were baaad last year. (Side notes: I was glad to see Butler take down UNC last night and Indiana looked tough against a pretty good Georgetown team.)
This will be a true test for our younger guys I suspect.
Having a beam 'n' coke before heading out to Madison Square Garden for the basketball game!
I so envy you.
I was just thinking how awesome it would be to go to MSG to have one last chance to rag on Bruce Webber.
Jack on the rocks
six, coors light cans. Yes, yes I know, Coors light is gross, and it is, but it is home to me, so I am rolling with it.
Just saw some hightlights of Pitt. They look like a team that can give us some trouble. They looks to have gaurds with size that can score the ball. Granted I have not watched them play a game but just based on what looks to be their style of play I think we better be ready to be physical tonight.
Coors light isn't gross; it's just cheap. The new 16oz bottle/cans are SO easy to drink... I love good beer as much as the next guys; but when I get off the river on a hot day (I'm a fly fishing guide), an ice-cold CL Smooth is my go-to.
I wish I was a fishing guide :( . Me and my wife went back water fishing in the Everglades (I'd never been, she's a big fan of fishing) and loved it.
And cheap. But water is cheaper, and doesn't taste like stale Budweiser.
I remember the days when Coors wasn't available east of the Mississippi. A friend brought some back from out west, and we sat around, expecting to savor some exotic and excellent beer. It was different, but not really in a good way.
tooooo easy to drink at times. And thank god I can come out of the closet..... I DRINK COORS LIGHT AND I LOVE IT!
Really excited for this game. Drinking a vodka cran, relaxing while playing a mmorpg after a really long day of work. Beat Pitt AND ohio!
Hornsby's Hard Cider. I don't usually drink women-beer, but when I do, it compliments the season. HAHA
I am excited about the basketball game, does anyone know of a high-quality feed?
"Video quality can fluctuate based on available bandwidth and computer resources" (as this site always warns). Since the first game isn't blacked out here in NYC, I suppose you should get the M game. Kansas State over Delaware 25-23 a few minutes ago.
On my way out the door to watch the other game live. And maybe catch the end of this one. Too late to ask for rooting suggestions.
If Delaware wins we'll be able to have a hard-court throw-down to decide who is worthy of the Winged Helmet. My money is on the good guys.
I live by myself, but someone snuck in my apartment and started to cut those damn onions...
Bruce Weber never ages or quits grinning. FACT
Pumped for this game! Curious to see how the freshman handle the BIG stage of MSG.
Drinking slightly sandy cans of Natty Light...... I know, I know... but it came with me in the cooler for 17 days on a raft trip down the Grand Canyon. Only 3 left of over a thousand beers we brought!
Also puffing on the finest natural medicines from NorCal...
Man, basketball tonight and Friday, football tomorrow and Saturday. I'm going to need more beer.
Also: At 10pm Butler vs. Illinois in the Maui Invite final.
Still have to get the kiddo's to bed, and just gave them the 10min warning. I'm looking forward to seeing how the team handles moments of adversity or droubts, against a decent team. Obviously I would like a run away, but it would be good to get some good competition, during some of these early games.
I'm between a few Fat Tire's or a couple Founder's Scotch Ale's........
Just finished a Bells Two Hearted with the wife in a hot tub. Now I need to help her get stuff ready for tomorrow while I watch the game.
And yes....probably with a glass of wine tonight. Or two. Or three. Then it's Mimosa's tomorrow for breakfast!
Ciroc rasberry flavored Vodka..it's my gf's but she shafted me tonight so im drinking it all..before I move onto my Jack.. Pumped for the game though
Is that a good thing?
I really did not want to go out tonight...she knew and is mad at me for it ..im gonna play mad and have the whole away...good thing
Just had a SN celebration on the train from Chicago back to kZoo, then straight off the train to Bell's. Location, location, location. Go Blue!
I will be at Bell's tonight too! Small world, still can't wait for the Arcadia smoke house to open downtown!!!
Celebration is fantastic. Well played.
Just made this a game!!! down 3 55-58!!!!!!!!
Interesting question: How much of a hit to our RPI would it be to play Delaware instead of K-State?
Delaware still has a good chance here, down 2 with 26 seconds to go.
Bells Winter White. Tis the season.
My buddy is at the game and says there are a ton of UM fans. Should be a good atmosphere for the guys.
Get this UNC vs. Chamade game off tv, it's over. Let's go Blue!
My girlfriend and I broke up, so I'm working on polishing off my second vodka cran now, a win will definitely help the spirits.
'My girlfriend and I broke up, so I'm working on polishing off my'
Unfortunate line break...
Rough week huh?
I'm sorry doll! Girls suck sometimes. Better days are ahead! Huggg
She may have caught wind of his MGo point count.
OT: yes I know neg me. But does anyone know who is in the booth for Saturday??
Sean McDonough and Chris Spielman in booth and Quint Kessinich on the sidelines.
I personally cannot stand Spielman. And isn't McDonough doing this UNC-Chaminade game right now?
McDonough and Spielman...hooray
Why does ESPN do that they might as well put Meyer back in the booth to go with them.
