OT - Jose Canseco explains gravity

So, I know this is way, way OT, but it's just too good to pass up.

Long recognized super-genius and Orator to kings and Gods alike, Jose Canseco, explains gravity. <<link

Is he setting up an insanity defense for something the feds are after him for? Or is this just a cautionary tale about the dangers of roids?

Don't be ridiculous

Everyone knows the gravity had nothing to do with flying dinosaurs.

Dinosaurs flew in F-14s!

Admitting

To admit you have a case of the diarrhea one must have shit loads of character which can only be built by having diarrhea. Get it? got it? good!

For those who don't want to

For those who don't want to click the link, this about sums it up:

"The land was farther away from the core and had much less gravity so bigness could develop and dominate"

Interesting Theory...

It's interesting that, in a single tweet, Jose Canseco suddenly comes up with his own take on one of the main assumptions of Gauss' Law For Gravity (that gravity would decrease linearly to zero as you approach the core). He fails to mention that the Earth is not of uniform density nor is it a perfect sphere, of course, but then, it didn't seem like Canseco was willing to get into much detail regarding the theoretical foundations of his assertion. That being said, given what he said, why is Canseco not plunging towards the core (assuming that he believes that attraction increases as you go deeper into the Earth) as we speak?

Yeeeeaaaaa, not the greatest

Yeeeeaaaaa, not the greatest orator, but a damn fine football coach. If I had to choose, I'll take the latter, and luckily for us, that is what we have.

If those were his own

If those were his own thoughts I'd be impressed.  Though wrong they are very creative and thoughtful in un-schooled ancient man kind of way.  Sad they aren't even his thoughts, took it from some freak named Ted Holden.

Yeah, I was going to say that

Yeah, I was going to say that this actually displayed pretty intelligent thinking.  Of course it had to be plagiarized.

Wow...

Only other famous person I know who said something about gravity is Jesse Ventura a few years ago. "If you don't believe in the theory of gravity, go jump off a building and see if you're right."

I'm confused, why the hell is

I'm confused, why the hell is Jose Canseco talking about this in the first place?  He just showed up at some press conference / interview and started riffing on how weaker gravity allowed for the dinosaurs to grow so large?

How many drugs did this guy take back in the 80's and 90's?
