rundown of Michigan's riser
OT: Jordan Payton to UCLA (wha??)
He has been committed to 4 teams in the Pac 12. Haha how awesome is that. I don't think it matters as long as he is happy wherever he ends up.
So that brings UCLA up to 107 players?
matches 401(k) contributions, UW doesn't.

This sounds like a classic case of: attention seeker and listening to the wrong people.
5 gets you 10 he ends up transferring from UCLA.

Chris Martin was a 4/5* recruit 2 years ago. Played for 3 different high schools, commits to ND for a year, switches to FSU, signs with Cal, transfers to Florida, leaves Florida.

NorthSideBlueFan - And now you see why I made that thread...
These OT - ???? to ???? have now pushed down the Signing Day Open threads and the Coach Hoke Presser Thread to the 2nd page.
“True loyalty is that quality of service that grows under adversity and expands in defeat. Any street urchin can shout applause in victory, but it takes character to stand fast in defeat. One is noise — the other, loyalty.”
Like we use to say att UM games when they would announce the NWestern score:
Who Cares!
Carter, The Darter, The Human Torpedo!
Good luck to him. But the kid is a doofus. Better that he stays out there.
Yeah peace out Payton you drama queen.
'Try growing up in Texas a Michigan WOLVERINE'.
I kind of feel sorry for guys like him. Someone close to him needs to be telling him not to say he is going to school "X" if he hasn't really made up his mind yet. There's no law that says you can't keep quiet until signing day (or even afterwards) if you simply aren't sure.

Is it possible to merge all the OT (including RR) NSD threads into a single non-Michigan NSD news, rumors, and happenings thread?

...this process is a lifter altering decision, but come on man. I'm glad he cooled on M in october. This kid can't make up his mind.
Book about Payton, Gunner Kiel and Yuri Wright -- "Three and In/Out/In/Out/In/Out.. in the crucible of college football recruiting."

I want to say a few negative things about this kid, but hell he might commit to us by the end of the day.
Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.

Considering he's already sent in his LOI to UCLA that would be a neat trick.
UCLA was after him hard and one of his high school team-mates(Ishmael Adams) is going there this year, too. He thought he wanted Cal and then Lupoi left and the other PAC-12 programs went after him hard.
I think in the end his family may have felt Washington was too far away and UCLA has had some pretty crazy momentum with it's class lately. They signed three wide receivers today alone.
Chaos is found in greatest abundance wherever order is being sought. It always defeats order because it is better organized.

Probably a good thing Michigan didn't hitch it's star to him then. The last time we cast our lot with a 4* recruit fresh off committing to multiple schools he was gone within 8 months (Chris Barnett).
"Nowhere is there a better university, in any way, than this Michigan of ours."
