OT: Jim Schwartz digs the "dreads" too

Submitted by AKMuskie on

Apparently Lions' coach Jim Schwartz is one step closer to creating a "dreadful" legacy in Detroit with Tim Toone, this year's "Mr. Irrelevant", who joins Delmas and others in this mind-blowing debacle.

And, as Schwartz noted, Toone's got a unique look, too: "White guy with dreadlocks."

Will the "dreads" lead the Wolverines and Lions to future success?

What the hell is the world coming to?

I realize that I'm engaging in racial stereotyping, but I've never seen a white guy in dreads who didn't look like he was auditioning for the lead in the Community Theater production of "Hair" in Farnarkle, Ohio.

but I also believe that men who wear little boxes on their heads while banging drums are silly douchebags. If these two beliefs are contradictory, get off my lawn.

I heard one of the assistants/someone suggested that they had to take a WR as "Mr. Irrelevant" to take a jab at Millen.

I heard they had like, 5 guys they would have been happy with, and someone suggested they take a WR to make a point to Matt that WRs were Irrelevant.

Just a story i heard
