OT: jamiemac and other gamblers: sites to use?

Submitted by bouje on
What's the best site to use for college football betting? Are there any that give more advantageous lines than others? Ones to stay away from?

Also i know that funding online poker accounts is a huge pain in the ass what about funding accounts for gambling?

Gamble on the internet.    Not only is it extremely hard to get your money out (which leads to more gambling for people like me at least) you will then be absolutely hounded on the phone (if you're stupid enough to give your real phone number like I did) or via snail mail forever.

I had used bookmaker.com in the past.  They are quick with getting your money in (you can use a credit card).  I went from $99.75 to over $3000 a few months back at the start of the season, and pulled out $3000, and had it in my account 4 days later.  Pretty good.  They're known for setting the lines apparently.

I strongly recommend them. I bet sports every football season and can deposit money to my account from my VISA credit card. And when I get money out it comes in a check from some random bank. Takes about two weeks, but it always comes. And they even have a mobile betting app which comes in handy on the weekends. If you're serious about betting, I would put money in two or three different sites to make sure you are getting the best line out at the time. Just some friendly advice.

I would strongly recommend NOT using superbook, sportsbook, or related sites. Don't have a good reputation.

Go to sportsbookreview.com and look at their reviews- stick to books rated B or better unless you have other incentives and think its worth the risk.

bouje, did you post this as a new thread from the iPhone app? It's not showing up on the main page. It's even formatted as a reply and only appears under the "New" tab on the sidebar.

If you're serious about it, and want to make money, you need to be using 10+ books, including some shady ones, so that you can ensure you will get the best possible line. You win by getting that extra half-point that most bettors rationalize as not mattering.

If you want to bet for fun, I would just use bodog. They have the most interesting player prop bets, and season-long bets, they're reputable, and their interface is well organized and easily understood.
