will be michigan's highest pick in a while
money has to go somewhere
I am only motivated by people who have no opinion about me.
the just released schedules were a flat-out statement that the B10 doesn't believe SOS will matter in playoff selection
but I thought that draft was supposed to be incredibly loaded?
If you're gonna go please be in the first round.
another delightful side effect of a 14 team conference
I disagree.
GOOD PLAN

Their high school coaches and AAU coaches have probably a better appreciation of Michigan than maybe they had before," Beilein said. "It's a tough balance right now. Tim Hardaway and Trey Burke weren't really high-profile players, nor was Darius Morris, and all were high-profile players. "We're still looking at 'who is the best fit.' "

I was surprised too. Even more so that Pitt wasn't ranked.
indiana winning is surprising; pitt losing is not - this is a team that lost 4 players to the NBA, and scored 15 points in a half last week.. they're a good program but are in the depths of rebuilding. even IU has a year up on them at this point.
Pitt only lost two players to the NBA Blair and Young. Fields and Biggs ended up in Europe I believe. Also, Jermaine Dixon who started last year returned from a foot injury last night for the first time.
The team is really going to have to improve as they lost Dejuan Blair, Sam Young, and Levance Fields to graduation. Blair was co-Big Beast player of the year with Thabeet, Young was just amazing in college as he improved so much each year, and Fields led the NCAA with an assist to TO rate around 8. So there is much to replace and this years team relies too much on their backcourt, though Ashton Gibbs can ball, Gibbs would be a star for Michigan as he's a point guard who can absolutely make it rain from three.
This is awesome for the Big 10, but it kills me that Michigan hasn't been contributing quality OOC wins. I was upset that we couldn't contribute a victory over BC to the Big 10/ACC challenge.
Ann Arbor is a classy broad.

Illini beat Vandy as well tonight.
Good wins for the Big 10.
