So yeah, another Friday night and I'm sitting at home alone, my girlfriend is out of town, and I have absolutely nothing to do. I've killed the last hour switching between playing modern warfare 2 and watching Family Guy re-runs. Is there anyone else out in Mgoland who has no life? I need some entertainment tonight so if someone could have a meltdown that would be fantastic.
OT-Its Friday night and I have no life official thread
+1 for your signature, by the way. MC Chris practically defined my high school years.
Co-sign MW2. I was able to beat the single player in just over 4 hours on the most difficult level the other day. It was short, the character I play as dies... TWICE. The macro-story line was solid, but I thought the first MW did a better job of selling their micro-story lines. There just seemed to be a lot of events in MW2 that were left without much explanation, and instead of creating suspense, they just happened.
And if you think you have no life at 8:20p on a Friday, I might had already been asleep.
Still hooked on Battlefield 2. Can't seem to shake it either, as I have a stack of other games that need to be played but havent gotten around to it (Bioshock, SupCom, Farcry 2 to name a few).
Pistons are playing the Pacers if you need something good to watch. And by good I mean two NBA teams in the bottom of the division squaring off.
Some of the performances were inspiring, but a couple of them are definitely going through pitch-correction software before they become available for download. The two that really need it so far are the first song, something about "send me an angel," and whatever Taylor Swift's song was. Both hit some really flat notes.
I'll probably d/l most of it anyway, because the money goes to Haiti. It will be fun to hear if there is any pitch correction.
What channel is the Haiti thing on? I can't seem to find it.
Watching Wizards v Werewolves on Disney...........Wooooo Hooooo......Now Kurt Warner is on Suite LIfe on Deck
He had some great years and the injuries are starting to pile up
Conan's last show on NBC should be a lot of fun, too. I like Neil Young, so seeing him there will be a bonus, but I am definitely tuning in to see what havoc he wreaks for his last night.
Just imagine if you knew you where going to be fired and how you would act.
RICHROD SHOULD BE FIRED RIGHT NOW! EVERYONE ONE THIS SITE IS OBSESSED WITH MGOPOINTS! SERIOUSLY WHY DID I JUST GET NEGGED? ITS ALL ABOUT DENARD! NOBODY IS ALLOWED TO HAVE AN UNPOPULAR DECISION HERE!
How was that?
just show how obsessed you are with points.
I will be back. I have access to thousands of computers in the Ann Arbor area, and at least 4 or 5 remaining screen name ideas.
The to correct someone for double posting a topic on the Iowa water polo team which was marked OT when it should not have been.
Wear you out. 9:30pm after dinner and a couple of beers i am ready to go to sleep. No entertainment value from me!
... that's what she said
Right there with you. Fortunately, it's only 8 p.m. here, so I can sit up and be a loser for a few more hours until retreating to bed.
I didn't play much of the first Call of Duty, but I'm hooked on the second one. I'll admit that the storyline could use a little tweaking. Still, the scenes in Virginia/D.C. are pretty awesome.
As for Warner, I'm a journalist in Phoenix and word around the office here from people in the know is that he's probably done. I think he still has the urge to play (he basically said as much in his Rick Reilly interview), but he has other priorities in his life. He's not Brett Favre. I hope he returns for the Cardinals' sake, but I also think Leinart will be OK. He's looked good at times and just needs to get some reps.
I played three games of indoor soccer this afternoon and my ass is seriously kicked. I'm too tired to even drink.
My friend and I went to a bar downtown after work and are now continuing to drink, watching Tommy Boy on DVD.
I like Purple Rains! Other than that it's Bud Light or Tanqueray and Sierra Mist Free
Bud Light? So in other words, yes, you drink girly drinks.
I'm spending my Friday night on the Mgoblog and watching the hockey game in my underwear. Yea, it's pretty awesome. :)
My friend wants to know if we should actually buy ski masks for Tuesday's hoops game--what say you, MGoBloggers?
sadly i think the odds are against us in this game and it's only more embarrassing to see all of that in the stands if we lose.
think we've got a puncher's chance at the game but drawing more attention in that way could be a big negative.
Is that a serious question? I think it goes without saying, but YES.
And before you buy, try Goodwill. Tough economy and all that.
Thats taking it to a whole new level. but I say 14 drinks
i raise you a gif
Evening is just starting on the West Coast! Gonna go dive bar crawl with my buddies in a bit. But if I was home I'd open a bottle of wine and read a good book.
I've been playing Bioshock since 3. I'm about to face the final boss but I don't want to beat him because I don't know what I'm going to do with my free time after I beat the game.
Quality game. Took me by suprise...if you haven't played it, please do so now.
Spending the night at BWI airport, editing a paper, running simulations, and waiting for the early morning flight back to DTW. There are a few mice here keeping me company.
watching Home Improvement reruns, and stalking Michigan hockey on twitter.... 2-0 3rd period BTW.... and in the category of "you can't write shit better than this", the celebrity score-o for tonight was Danny Fardig and..... JACK MF JOHNSON of the visiting LA Kings. Wonder how much ol' Dean likes that twist?
A friend of mine was sitting next to JMFJ and his dad, but I didn't get to see his dad dance because I'm all the way in the realm of the Swedish flag.
I had a amazing Southern Tier Old Man Winter Ale. It really had a nice blend of malts, hops, and spice.
Watching the game on gametracker and watching Fight Club.
NCAA 10...Bored? Not anymore.
also, Kroger in Ann Arbor has Hoppslam. Have four of those and I guarantee you won't be bored for long.
