I've been using this account from the start - no need to have an alt.
I know a lot of you have wondered, and it's true: I am also SirJack (the first). At one point comments I added under that handle would not appear, and I felt bad depriving everyone of my comments so I created another account.
We are all grateful that you did.
Sir Jack too. Most excellent.
Ok ok I admit it. I am not one of the Wu Tang Clan members even though my avatar is their picture from the racial draft. Woooo weight off my shoulders lifted.
Heck, I spend too much time on here with only one sign-in as it is.
I've been around for a long time but I'm not a Lloyd Carr fan so I quit posting at that time and didn't post forever and since I changed e-mails etc so I didn't bother trying to find my other account.
I've learned to keep quiet when it comes to certain topics.
See, I did it the other way around and created an account which I hoped would speak collectively for an entire graduating class of one of the University Of Michigan's many schools and colleges. Why have multiple accounts for one person when one "person" can speak for "many"?
periods of extreme angst - 404 not found.
the real confession here is that every account in this thread is from the same person
avatar pic. Not because it's bad. But because it really turns me on. All of my personas get turned on by it. /s
I have had several "preachy" phases where I wanted to create another account to spread my supportive word. It has never been political, religous or what-have-you bad. It's always been a slap-happy kinda "support our boys," but I have never actually done it.
I probably never will either, but after last night's game, I really thought about it . . .
but an ILLUSION.
All you howdedodats are still under my control.
Just one account. But I'm willing to learn.
don't think I have an alter ego, but full disclosure; the day after the UTL game, I awoke next to my laptop in a pile of beer bottles, burnt roman candles and my dog's leavings and saw that I was logged in as Big Gay Heart. My wife walked in and freaked out so I just reacted and pulled the battery out. I still have no recollection of that night and to this day can't find the pants or the watch I was wearing.
We need a new thread to expand on this...
outing the other thread's posters may comment.
<kanye> There's a thousand yous and only one of me </kanye>
I'll come clean
I am THE_KNOWLEDGE
No alternate identities here. I've thought about it. I've also thought about killing my current username and starting over, with a username more appropriately Michigan themed and bland, along with some generic Michigan avatar. But in the end, I don't want to mess around with two identities on the board, so no second user for me. And I also can live with just being me, so no anonymous generic user name either.
your NSFSRK'sW post was one of my favorite moments in my time on the board. i always read your posts. don't change it up, or then i will have to start reading all the posts by people i don't recognize.
Agreed. I'm going to use the "NSFMrs.K" meme until the day I die.
I think you made an excellent choice for your avatar but what do i know.
I'm actually Kass' wife.
My first account had my name in it. Dumb. That's what happens when it's 2008. Amateur hour.
Also wish I hadn't taken a stupid gmail address instead of my real name. Now some douche has it. Great.
I personally want to know if I'm talking to a 18 year old kid or a 40 year old man. So with that in mind, not only do I only have one account, but that's my picture (obviously wearing the UM shirt) in my profile photograph, and my name represents my profession (I'm a strength coach). I am transparent and wouldn't say something on a board that I wouldn't say in real life.
Not mine, yours.
That's nice of you, but I still can't tell if you're 18 or 40 based solely on your teeny tiny avatar picture.
The point is the same that I'm not hiding who I am. I wish more people would use a picture of themselves in their profile. I respect their choice not to, but it would be nice to see who you're talking to.
I would use a picture of myself, except that I'm very very ugly.
I'd use a picture of myself, except I'm afraid I'd be negged / stereotyped for being a young, white, male.
Who knows, maybe you would, maybe you wouldn't, but that's kinda the point. Knowing who said a comment gives it context and helps a person better understand where they're coming from. For example I may use a different strategy when discussing topic with an 18 year old than I would a 30 year old or if it were a female versus a male, etc.
I'm a horse
I just tried to create another MGOBLOG account to answer this post but I was denied - apparently there is a limit of 3 per person and ...........
Nope, it's just me.
I made a new one because too many people out in the real world (that place with all the sunlight) knew who I was on mgoblog. I prefer to be stupid in complete anonymity
Just kidding, this has been and always will be my only MGo account.
My opinion on mutiple accounts:
I was Maize and Brew For Me and I was the one that quadrupled posted "Hoke has changed the tide".
Wait - you did that and then changed your name? Why would you want to hide one of the brightest moments in blogging history? Go back. Now!
I lost my password
I am BILG, BILG is me. BAAAAAHHHH!!!!
I have a second gimmick account I dust off on occassion
I also started a revived 00goblue00 account but I don't think enough people remembered her for it to be funny
this account. But I do know that Herm and Chet are the same person. Yup.
I have another more famous account, but I'll let you figure it out.
nope, if I haven't had my account deleted by now its not going to happen, no need for another account to be a jackass with
This place needs a paywall.
I waste enough time here as it is under one name.
I still think it's funny any time someone thinks I'm an actual Auburn fan.
I only did it because I thought it would be funny to put a post as WarDamnEagle in the thread where RDT was exposed, but if something Auburn related comes up on here, I'll post from it.
Where is King of Belch?
