I will pick the birds.
This list is completely arbitrary and not a genuine analysis of the relative merits of state fossils.
I think the team that has more yards. Wins TOP. Has less turnovers. And in the end whoever scores more wins. Yeah I went to John Madden U.
If you see someone in an airport with Michigan logos on luggage and they are wearing a pilot uniform come say hello.
Go Niners. Not because I love the guy who only went to Michigan because his first choice Stanford didn't offer him a scholarship, but I can't stand Baltimore and Ray Lewis.

Looking for BTTYS Nike sb Michigan Dunk Highs size 14, hit me up.
Awesome. I was pining for this right after it happened in the Conference Championship Thread. He reminds me of the girl have a tantrum in Problem Child whose birthday party the kid is terrorizing.
went against Michigan many of us would have thar reaction or worse. That was an awful call.
If an OSU fan divorces his wife are they still brother and sister?
It's odd how the completed pass rule has evolved over time. Seems like in the replay era it's gone from
-- If the ball touches the ground ever for any reason, it is an incomplete pass, no subjectivity involed whatsoever
to
-- If the receiver controls the ball and has his hands under the ball and the tip of ball happens to touch the ground, that's OK, it's complete. As long as he doesn't throw the ball away after standing up and "completes the process."
to
-- If the receiver somewhat controls the ball, it moves after hitting the ground, but the ball doesn't leave his hand in the process, that's complete
I mean, what the hell, before too long, guys will just trap the ball and it will be called complete
It was ridiculous how badly I wanted Jim to replace RR at the time. I'm very happy with Hoke, but Harbaugh... that creep can roll.
And I don't think we have to worry about him bolting which is nice
Hoke is also someone people respect, look up to and brings honor to our school. Jim Harbaugh is an asshole that most people can't stand (and who is also a very good football coach).
see image below - Hoke is our coach - Good luck to Jim. Hate Ray-ray
.....the one in Lancer's post. Harbaugh is a very good coach - but I always wanted Hoke because of the things you (Rage7) listed-- and he wanted Michigan to be his last job - He is fully committed to M -Harbaugh was likely to leave.
However I loved how harbaugh stuck it to Pete Carroll and never let off the gas pedal in those games just to make a point, even though he claimed he was just running his offense. I want Hoke to do that to so badly to Ohio, where I know Harbaugh would have.
For those about to block! We recruit you!
Harbaugh's an asshole, but he's an incredible coach. Stanford didn't care that he was an asshole and Alabama doesn't care that Saban's an asshole.
Hoke's not an asshole, and it looks like he'll be a good coach. Breaking rules excepted, if you told me Michigan hired one of the country's best coaches who is also an asshole, I'd say that's just fine. I'm not at all upset with Hoke, but I would have been just as psyched with Harbaugh.
I suspect this is how most of us feel, I don't necessarily like Harbaugh but I would have loved him as our coach.
Blank.....Blank......You're not looking at the big picture here.
When he was hired, Hoke talked about being a Michigan Man and what it meant. He talked about his players being good husbands, good fathers and good men in the community. I started to realize that maybe some things were more important than the final score. I don't think that we can compete with the likes of Alabama because it's a dirty($$$) program. Hoke will be more like Carr than Harbaugh, but gosh darn it, I love him. At the end of the day, I'd rather have Hoke be the face of our school rather than some immature prick who already publicly spoke poorly of us.

When the winds of changes shift
But those were from before the bowl game. A lot changed after it. I think the big change was the 2nd half of the Orange Bowl.

Then we got stuff like-

Love the old "Denard is going to transfer" meme. (Or this one - http://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/cc-hokenot-option )
My favorite comment from scanning?
Someday, at some school, maybe Denard will do that in a BCS game...

I was just telling my wife the very same thing. I really wanted Harbaugh to come to Michigan, but seeing what a jerk he is, I'm glad he took the NFL job instead. He's a good coach, but he would have been an embarrassment to Michigan.
I'm very happy with Brady Hoke. I cannot imagine him pulling a stunt like this on the Michigan sideline.
Not to get to sappy, but their mom and dad, sitting in their living room in whatever state they're in, have to be proud as all hell. This storyline is going to get old by, oh tomorrow afternoon, but it is pretty neat at it's core.
When one of their sons has the biggest accomplishment in his life, and the other faces the greatest disappointiment of his career.

80's M QB as HC, and 90's M QB as the delivery man. How cool would that be?
I'll root for Ray Lewis once that white suit turns up. I'd wager it has more stains than Monica's dress.

Stop the uniform changes! Contact Dave Brandon 734-764-9416.
Or you could just call it the Har-Bowl for short.
He doesn't want to go down!
So, the Patriots looked like crap, but that might be redundant. Daaang.
I've sort of liked the Ravens so, I suppose let's go Ravens!
HAIL.
...there was an NFL coach who understood expected values, Belichick punts from the Ravens 35, 34, and 45 (on 4th and 2) in the same game. Two of the ensuing drives were Baltimore TDs.
To be fair if he was with the wind I'm sure he would have kicked the field goals. Honestly they lost the game in the Red Zone.
Crab cakes vs. Crabtree.

I've always kind of liked the Niners before Jim started coaching and I can't stand Ray Lewis so San Fran it is.
He's a cry baby bitch that should have been locked up for murder??
You want innocent people looked up?
"The Ruhr will not be subjected to a single bomb. If an enemy bomber reaches the Ruhr, my name is not Hermann Göring: you can call me Urban Meyer!"
Except Ray Lewis didn't kill anyone, and you pushing this fallacious idea makes you kind of an asshole.
Is Ray Lewis a scumbag who told everyone in the limo to keep their mouths shut to save his football career after the incident went down? Yes.
Did he kill anyone? No.
By nearly all accounts Ray Lewis' involvement in the fight was trying to separate people and get his entourage into his limo. IIRC, the only people who claim Lewis was throwing down, were a lady who claimed she was too drunk to really remember anything, and a con man who was in prison at the time of the trial.
Two of Ray's hanger-ons murdered those guys. So if you want to blame Ray for having shady people around him, or for attempting to cover up what happened in an attempt to save his football career, then fine. The man however, is not a murderer.

Well whatever he is I still don't like him. He's a damn good football player but too over dramatic for my liking. My wife who doesn't watch football at all was disgusted by the way he was acting before and after the game.
He's an accomplice to felony murder, and could be charged with murder. So he could, in fact, be considered a "murderer."

Only in the legal sense though, and I don't believe that is what Hoke-a-maniac was attempting to infer through his post.
Regardless, IIRC, Ray Lewis only ever ended up being convicted of obstruction of justice for the things he stated in the limo.

I hope Jimmeh wins the Harbaugh Bowl.
I root for any team that plays that murderer Lewis.
When the ADept sells special jerseys and gear, you'll see my picture next to the targeted customer crowd. A sheep.....but a Blue one.....
The only real question is who will win the title of ultimate whiner? My money is on Jim.
can't really see kaepernick and the niners offense slowing down. The ravens stalled the patriots but kaepernick is a different beast. I'm going with san fran!
"What" ain't no country I ever heard of. They speak English in What?
