OT - IT IS DONE - Leicester has pulled off the miracle of miracles

Submitted by superstringer on

A 5000:1 longshot has come through.

Tottenham were tied (miraculously) by their London arch-rival Chelsea. That seals the deal -- Leicester has won the Premier League.

lcfc will turn into a pumpkin next year. They can enjoy their moment while it lasts. Their fans in asia will go back to being liverpool supporters and Spurs will continue to challenge for the title.

Chav$ki are not Spurs arch rivals. They're a collection of plastic support in Fullham. If we finish above the wenger bus the season will be a success.

To my mind this is still the best thing to happen in liecester all year

It's hard to put this longshot into perspective, but I'll try...

NBCSN just showed that their odds to win the title at the beginning of the season were 5000-1. The US olympic hockey team's odds in 1980 were 1000-1.

Arsenal is the main rival, but that seems to be more of a tough hard fought game. Chelsea always seems to be a straight up fight.
Damn Spurs so close.

Arsenal fan, but I'm ecstatic for Leicester.  If it can't be us (it rarely is), then good for them.

Just as miraculous was Spurs finishing that game with eleven men... They are truly the Spartys of the Premier League.

I'm fully aware of the Emirates' reputation as an easy place to play (and really, I agree with most of the criticisms about it), but that's not what I was referring to.

The noise by fans I was referring to was in bars and pubs, on the street, and online with posts like this. I can tell exactly where Tottenham is in the table by the amount of grief I get from Spurs fans when I wear my Arsenal jacket.

Thanks for proving my point with name calling and a rush to judgement... You'd fit right in over in East Lansing.

Ya your fanbase is the most fickle in the premier league but based on your simple judgement of what abuse you get when you wear a jacket you've made a decision about another one. Tell me something, have you ever been to a match at the emirates or higbury? Before you go telling me I'd fit it better in EL did you ever take a course at Michigan? You're the mgoblog version of a twitter egg so slow your roll
