Zach Follett posted on his twitter page that his come back attempt is over. The pain was too much, and he doesn't want to risk a life threatening injury. It's too bad, but I wish the kid all the luck in the world. He was a tough competitor and always gave it 100%. At least he is smart enough to realize that there isn't an amount of money worth risking your life over.

In his defense, Stafford has been injured several times (4 times I believe) in 2 years and Follett suffered a freak neck injury on special teams. And special teams in the NFL are reserved for the mentally insane.

Some family friends (up in the CA Bay Area) knew some of his relatives or something, and hes truly a really standout guy. I truly wish him nothing but the best.
