OT: Insignificant Things Open Thread (NO POLITICS)
**NO POLITICS**
Seeing as there are no significant news stories unfolding tonight, I wondered if we could get a POS bang together about what you are doing to bide the time.
I, for one, haven't turned on the TV or browsed the internet at all, assuming that I would be disappointed by the fact that nothing is happening tonight. I may play some Sudoku in a bit, I'll keep you updated.
What menial things are everyone else doing on such a run of the mill November evening?
**NO POLITICS**
Seriously, NO POLITICS! One month Bolivia trip for any mentions timestamped after 10:31 EST. [zl]

Yes, I'm following the race with interest. (trust that isn't "politics.") But I'm personally in a position where I refuse to endorse any candidates, ever, and refuse to reveal how I vote, ever, and have to quash politics discussions regularly. So, I really appreciate the consistent "no politics" stance of mgoblog. It allows me to read and to relate to fellow Michigan fans without partisanship and politics gumming up the works.

Playing Soduko?
Is it a game? Is it a sport? I insist it is an (enjoyable) activity....and we should do Soduko as opposed to play Soduko...
/sudoku, but still

I find it extremely comforting that, no matter the results of any and all contests tonight, half the country will be upset with OHIO tomorrow.

I personally believe that the paleo diet is unfounded, physiologically speaking.
I also personally believe that the paleo diet is straight-up delicious.

I wonder how the people in Ohio feel about their state being colored blue.

It's just another indicator that Hoke has changed the tide on the rivalry. Hell people in Ohio are starting to believe him. Never in a million years I would have thought that. Selling Michigan jerseys is a good start.

I'd rather see my friends disrespect one another over politics on Twitter and Facebook than see a grown man cry over someone shooting animals on here.

Nobody who goes to the supermarket for freshly-killed meat has any right to criticize anyone for killing their own. Bambi was not harmed in the writing of this comment.

I bought an iPod nano tonight. It's neat.
I got an exam returned to me today as well. Didn't do quite as well as I thought, but still extremely well. Amazing how getting a good nights sleep contributes to clear thinking. As I write this at 1251am....

I hate to break it to you Yost but we would be so overly populated with deer if people didn't hunt. You'd hit one every other morning on the way to work.

I got shithouse wasted on MACtion last night and I'm paying the price for it today. Do you know what the cure to a MACtion hangover is? More MACtion.

This board is an oasis.
Got to work early this morning, thought of making my usual social media rounds as I usually do before buckling down and being productive. Realized I could not stomach the griping/gloating mix I would be sure to see everywhere. EUREKA I was reminded that I could come to MGoBlog and not see ANY OF IT.

The first half of this thread (Ghost of Yost vs carnivores) was as funny as anything I've read here in a while. One angry vegan versus the entire board and it was hillarious. The whole thing errupted shortly after I turned off the insignificant thing on TV and went to bed - I'm sorry i missed it live.
Why are the funniest threads always about something other than sports?
November 7th, 2012 at 9:46 AM ^
You may already know this, but if you want to see some funny, wander over to shaggybevo. There's a whole lot of brilliant, and even more so-stupid-it's-brilliant over there. Couple key words/phrases: MSPaint, and prevailandride.
