at least it's not just us?
OT: Ingram hurt in practice...
But they have the best backup in the country.
Damn that sucks for Bama, but Trent Richardson is a beast.

Now if only they would stop giving the award to sophomores! I don't know how many more injuries I can count on."
OUT FOR THE SEASON per: CBS Sports
Pffft. Context? Details? Words? We don't have need for any of those!
owned by a OSU fan.. OUCH
doesn't really count as an OSU fan. He is witty, intelligent, and generally likable. I believe he was scooped up from a bassinet in Ann Arbor by a passing eagle at the age of 6 months and inadvertently dropped somewhere in the wastelands between Akron and Columbus.
Freep style of writing headlines. I own CBS Sports stock and really need the money/clicks.
He is out for PSU and that they can capitalize on it. Would love to see a Big Ten team stick it to "Bama on their own field.
Nobody dislikes Alabama more than me. However, I find rooting for a player to be hurt really distatsteful.
I'm pretty sure you're probably the only person who read what he wrote as "rooting for a player to be hurt".
Thanks/sorry. Would delete the comment if I could.
It doesn't really matter, PSU is going to get destroyed. Trent Richardson would probably start at 115/120 D1 schools.
Now WHO is going to run through those gigantic holes that the Bama O-Line is gonna make?
It's a joke. I could average 4 yards per carry with their Oline.
Probably Richardson, the guy they already thought was going to take around half the carries anyway.
Richardson is better. I don't like it, but Alabama will probably win that game by about 30 points.
Lucky for Alabama that they have the best back-up running back in the nation.
Trent Richardson is a really good back up
kids leaving early for the NFL but I really felt his stock was at a max last year.
I really applaud him for staying though. Particularly given the history with his dad.
I hope it works out for him both from a busness/career and personal standpoint.
He was only two years removed from high school at the time. He couldn't enter the draft even if he wanted to.
Well despite the inside info from the OP here, Saban is keeping this bottled up tight.
He is making it sound like he will almost certainly be healthy for PSU game, which seems unlikely.
Saban's comments also seem to be trying to protect Ingram's draft stock, saying that it will not effect his ability to perform in the future.
But in today's information age, there is no way that the truth won't come out eventually.
Either way, I wish him a speedy recovery.
Depending on what he actually injured/tore, a knee scope rehab for an elite athlete can be 2 weeks. I'd have to look up the NFLers I remember having it done... but yeah, depending on the injury a scope could be (emphasis on could, I dunno what he actually hurt) 2 weeks
I can't imagine saban rushing him back. Although he is one of the best players in the country, they will still be fine @ rb... they will make sure he is healthy for florida and prevent any type of reinjury risks
I'm sure he'll be back for the beginning of SEC play, and I think Bama has enough to beat this PSU team with Ingram. I always thought that he won the Heisman in no small part because his offensive line was beastly, and Richardson should enjoy similar success while filling in.
IMO Richardson is better than Ingram, They will smoke PSU and I will laugh because I hate PSU with a passion.
Saban isn't worried because he'll just bring back on of his "oversigned" grey shirts for depth.
