So I'm up late and Bring it On is on TV leading me to this question...
Does the MGoBlog community think Kirsten Dunst is hot?
I know a lot of girls that seem to complain she is rather unattractive, but I don't get it. I for one find her very hot. Thoughts?

99 out of 100 guys who are up watching Bring It On at 3:30AM are not gonna think Kirsten Dunst is hot. Why? Because they're almost surely gay.
...Not that there is anything wrong with that.

That's pretty generous (of actresses.)
Years ago, before we met, my wife did some modeling, and looked great. What impressed me though, was that she looked good WITHOUT makeup. I could see pretty much what she would look like years later, and what she would look like when I woke up next to her. I didn't want to deal with someone who had to spend an hour putting on her "face" every morning.
Regarding Dunst . . . well, it's all subjective, but she seems nice enough to me. Pretty? Yes. Hot? Not really.
However, from my perspective, everything matters. Yes, looks are nice, but what is someone's attitude? Personality? Intellect? I've heard that Megan Fox and Tyra Banks, to mention a couple of clearly gorgeous women, aren't very nice. And then there are those who are nice, and good looking, but can't hold an intelligent conversation. All of it matters, and comes together in the whole package.

Dunst (current verison) is more like, hey I met this nice chick in Econ and she's hot enough for me and I can take her to my mom, and she probably won't end up eating my brains kind of hot.
So it depends what you're looking for, I guess. I'll lean toward not having my soul taken and burning in eternal darkness, though I bet it'd be so fun for the first ten minutes.

I stayed at the same resort as her in Maui just after Spidey 3 wrapped shooting. It was her and some friends. She was nowhere near as good as she looks on screen in my epinion. I don't have my pictures at the moment, but here are a couple of links to some from that week

The general public are so infatuated by celebrities that they simply believe all of them to be HOT (at least the vast majority).
I am not saying all celebrities are ugly, but many are not nearly as hot as we give them credit for.
Something I try to do is remove them from the screen and picture them walking down the street of my hometown with no makeup on and dressed in normal clothes. When I do this, I come to the realization that many celebrities would not even get a double take if they were, in fact, not celebrities.
I have wondered why this is the case, but can't seem to figure it out. Is it the money, the lifestyle? I have no idea, but it is interesting.
My vote after putting KD to the test is no, she isn't hot. If I saw her walking down Main St. in my town I would not give her a second look. (5 years ago, before I started doing this to determine whether celebrities were hot, I assure you I would have said she was).

An exception to this is Sarah Michelle Gellar. I was in LA about 8 years ago and was sitting at the bar next to an incredibly hot girl. I didn't relize it was her until Freddie Prinze and Seth Green rolled in and met up with her. I had never thought she looked that hot on TV but was way hotter in person.
