Hopslam 10%, 120 minute pushing 20%. 120 is an amazing beer, but it takes some getting used to, which is usually half way through when the buzz kicks in.

Rye pale ale I brewed a few months ago and dry hopped with Columbus. I felt a tinge of guilt using this hop but it turned out fantastic.

Grabbed a couple 6 packs of Hopslam last night. Amazing beer. Very drinkable, great flavor, awesome aroma, looks perfect. One of the best beers I've ever had.

Did this thread affect you in any way?!
Yes? I think some here would apologize for causing you whatever dis-ease said thread has caused; others may tell you to shove off, but at least you'd get some empathy.
No? 1. Ask yourself why you had to comment in this thread that in no way touched upon any aspect in your life and 2. realize it was probably pretty silly to mock others who did partake in sharing their evening "medicine".
Srsly though...what're you drinking dude?!

Does anyone know a place that does and/or will sell Hopslam in Chicago? All I see listed on their website are the bars that do and/or will have it on tap.

I recently had been taking Valium for a strange panic incident ~2 weeks ago, but had stopped taking it 3 days ago. The doc said it be ok to drink a beer at this point, so I cracked a bottle of Green Flash Imperial IPA. I had 3 sips and could feel it getting on top of me, and sort of a head rush (similar to the initial feeling of a strong pain medication administered through an IV). Dumped the rest out and drank water. I heard Valium metabolizes for awhile, but I would of thought 72 hours would have been enough time. A shame too, that is a damn fine beer that got poured down the drain. Better safe than sorry, though. Cheers to those that did get to enjoy a beer or two, and stay safe.
