OT-home and home UNIs

I think I'll keep the USC-UCLA game on for the uniforms. (Uniforrmz)

We should have established this with TUoOS years ago.

I'm a big fan of this. I don't see why this shouldn't be the normal long as the colors are contrasting.

I think the only reason why one team has to wear white is because of television (black and white sets). That is no longer an issue

OT: I just saw LSA's tweet about someone saying "die Brady" on this site. Anyone see which asshole said that? That is really shitty to say. Yeah, we're all pissed about the way this regime has turned out and want Michigan to win more than any team we watch, but saying "die Brady" is way over-the-top.

Home and home unis is how Michigan - Ohio State used to do it.

The newspaper report of the dedication game of Michigan Stadiumn against Ohio State in 1927 talks about the scarlet jerseys of Ohio State and the blue of Michigan.

It was only when black and white TV forced the change to road whites because it could not pick up the difference in colors that teams went away from home and home unis.

Bring it back.  In this day of fake throwbacks, it's an authentic throwback.

Interesting, but I still like the contrast, though I do love our home jerseys. I like the way USC and UCLA do it because of what the posters above said. Anyway, many games would still need alternate jerseys. Nebraska - Indiana both wearing home jerseys would be a disaster.

EDIT: Actually, now that I've thought about it, seeing UM and OSU in home jerseys sounds pretty damn cool.

Is there any reason why a UCLA type offense wouldn't have been a good fit for DG and Michigan?

Oh waaait....we had that guy, but now he's in Arizona leading a team that's competing for a conference championship.

With the black and white TV it definitely helped to have white and dark uniforms.  I remember watching a basketball game on black and white TV where it was very diffcult to tell the difference between the color was a cream type color (it may have been Purdue).  With color TV you can definitely do the OSU game with home and home unis.  The Illini orange and Badger red does not work on color TVs - they tired that once and it was a disaster.
