OT- Holy life on the margins, anyone catch OU/Neb?

I watched this game and NU's D looked fricking good and aggressive. Screw the yards, it seemed the game was in NU's D hands the whole game.

I feel like Michigan and Nebraska are linked to each other somehow, ever since '97. But not in a good way. I wish it would stop.
ETA: But at least they won today.
Also, if we think we're crushed, how does it feel to be an Oklahoma fan this year? And they still have to play Texas Tech, Texas A&M, and OK State, all of whom have winning records. I don't see them finishing better than 7-5, and maybe even worse.

fans went into the season hoping for a championship, major disappointment for them.

I'll be interested if Nebraska gets to play Texas. Not that Nebraska would score, but I think their defense would actually hold Texas in check. As I said, thought, the Husker's offense would not contribute.

2 very good dt's this year, with him and McCoy. Whoever lands them in the draft should get a whole lot better on D.

Back when Henne was hurt and it screwed our season I wish Michigan had gotten all the love OU still gets even without Bradford.

Second year coach in Pellini--starting a first time QB who never played before this season. Went 9-4 last year with a bowl win.
He turned a defense around, and won with someone else's players (imagine that?). The defense he inherited gave up SIXTY FIVE points in the last game under its old coach. Guess what? That was the second most points scored on them in that season.
A tale of two coaches. Let the Rodriguez Apologists chime in.

Living in NE all I hear about is the Huskers, and yes, the Pilini's are defensive guru's and I wish we had one of them. But have you seen their offense lately? Their offense = M's defense, and guess what? They're using the exact same offensive scheme with players recruited for that scheme with the exact same offensive coordinator that they've had for the last FOUR years.
Nebraska also isn't starting true freshman and sophomores at key positions on D like M's O is. And tell me, how well did they get their true frosh QB - who was also a top 10 dual-threat QB who also enrolled early and is supposedly more physically gifted than Forcier - ready to play? Oh, he was pulled in the first quarter in favor of a juco transfer? Interesting.
Having read about both teams fairly extensively, I can tell you that neither is ahead of the other and both have a lot of work to do. So if you're trying to say they're ahead of M in their year 2, you clearly haven't looked at NE in depth.
It may be a tale of two coaches, but the story is still being written.
Also, I respect your right to your opinion - I disagree, but I respect it. All we're asking is that you do the same.
