OT - Help w/ streaming game feed question!
1) Is there any way (locally on my computer) to make the "full screen" version better, less grainy? Can I lower the screen-res or anything? Is it dependant solely on the feed?
2) Has anyone conneted the an out to a larger TV? Is it worth it for average quality (non-HD) feeds, or does the blow-up size wreck the image too much?

I cancelled my cable awhile ago and watch all my tv on-line connected to my 42in Samsung, and I have been more then pleased.
If your getting feeds from any legal/authorized source you shouldn't have any issue with picture/quality.....however, if you venture down the dark cold corners of cyber-space and pull from some....eh....illegal/unauthorized sources then quality may be an issue, but if you look around you'll find something watch-able.

In my experience, it all depends on the quality of the stream. The BTN stream is supposed to be very high quality but it is only available outside of the country. I think it will just depend on how good of a stream you come across. I watch a lot of streamed soccer games and it is really just a crap shoot whether or not you come across a good one.
I've had the best luck finding streams here using the Sopcast or TVAnts software:

I was wanting to watch our local guys (Coastal Carolina) play Kent St today and it's on the MAC site. Specifically, the image looks great in it's small box, but when I blow it up full screen - not so good. E-pinion just MAC quality? or am I missing something in blowing it up to better quality pic?
