OT: HBP review

Submitted by noshesnot on
Okay, it's obviously going to be talked about in the next few days, but, considering they have reviews for what is and what is not a home run, should they have a review for a HBP too? I honestly think no. I stand by tradition and don't like taking the game out of the umpire's calls. At the same time, it's too bad that 163.25 games can come down to a missed call. Granted, they still would have needed to stop the Twins in the bottom half, but I think the game's complexion would have completely changed.

Still in the works; a preview: "The HBP was a pretty good book, but I was disappointed in the movie. The substance of a film were all there: the music, the directing, editing, and special effects. However, it seemed like a filler movie where nothing significant happened. This was the first movie that they left significant items out from the book, and it actually makes a difference..."

The ump Effed up, and stood behind his original ruling. He probably heard the ball brush Inge. It probably just cost us the game, but we had other chances to win, and didn't get it done. The whole world saw that the ball touched him, on the replay.

personally, i enjoy to have the subjectivity in the game. sometimes it gives you a lucky break and sometimes it may screw you over. the really good teams don't need to have it come down to that.
