OT: Hawkeyes have RB, FB and LB leave the program
While none of these players are starters, it is somehow reassuring that other programs lose players for various reasons.

Kirk Ferentz doesn't care about family values.

Hopefully these young men find what they're looking for in a program. But it is nice to know tha it's not just us

They were being over worked at practice. Also I heard Ferentz has a mouth like a trucker.....

Because if it were he'd be coaching at OSU!

Another one of his players, Justin Pigfarmer, left the school because his dad (a former Hawkeye) was sore that a legacy scholarship wasn't given to his other son, Zach Pigfarmer. Justin cited a lack of family atmosphere on his way out...

Is this a joke? Pigfarmer?

Justin ______, father a former player. Other son, Zach ______, passed over for scholarship... Mouthing off on the way out. Any of this sound familiar?

Any word on why Austin Gray left? He was a pretty highly rated LB, and he's from Michigan, to boot:

Currently looking online for any other info.
Think we recruited him, just can't remember how hard.

I spent three seconds on Google trying to find out why he's not at Iowa any longer and found nothing. He's basically a footnote in a bunch of stories about Wegher's departure.

Wegher is still on the team. He came back for a few days last week and then went back home. He has some personal issues to deal with, possibly like with Sam a few years ago. There has been no official release or request for a release. Gray is a different story and it came out of nowhere.

I heard they took the hawkeye off those players helmets and told them they had to earn them ! .. The nerve of some programs !!!

Michigan never really went after Gray.
