OT- Great PS3 games?

I know this has been covered in the past, but time moves fast so I was wondering what the board thinks is a good PS3 rental/buy?

I recently beat COD:MW 2, GOW 3, Bioshock 1 and 2. So I am thinking about Infamous, Fallout 3, Resistance 2 or Little Big Planet as they look like the highest rated games per IGN I haven't played.

though im an xbox guy myself (speaking of which, halo reach = the tits), my buddy went out and bought a PS3 exclusively for the show. he claims its one of the best of 400 bucks he's spent.

If you're an xbox guy, definitely try mass effect and mass effect 2 if you haven't already. those games are awesome

I have the '08 and '09 versions of The Show and for the most part completely loved them (though some of the small glitches in RTTS absolutely drive me up the damn wall). I haven't decided whether to get '10 yet, but I'd say I'm close to pulling the trigger. What makes me most excited is the training sessions for pitchers in RTTS.

Alright, I'm buying this game when I get home from work. Done deal.

but from your feedback I'm going to try it tonight. I have been playing a season so far and some online games but I haven't dug into much else. The graphics are sick and the gameplay is great!

I definitely enjoyed it. The combat is great (3rd person is refreshing), the background graphics are great, the story is solid, and the multiplayer is pretty fun. The only thing I got sick of was all the mindless climbing and jumping, wasn't much skill involved there.

I recommend Braid above all else however.

Easily the best game for ps3. Also, MLB the Show is much better than the 2k baseball game, Hot Shots Golf is good (cartoony, but better ball physics than the TW games). I think the PS3 Formula 1 game is one of the best racing games ever if you're into racing (and if you can find it).

God of War 3 is amazing, the type of stuff you can do (like fighting on a Titan the size of the Empire State building while its moving) and the visuals make it a must get for any and every PS3 owner. I you can get the GOW 1/2 PS3 combo pack for like $30 too.
