OT: Great article by Mitch Albom on Tom Kowalski
In todays article, Mitch Albom writes about Killer not being there for the game, and his seat being empty. It's a deeply honest article, and like only Mitch Albom can do in a short article, he makes you understand the loss.

Killer was the man. There really aren't that many sports writers that I like, but I can honestly say that he was my favorite. When you read his articles, it felt like you were having a conversation with a friend over beers.
I also met him a few times and he was always willing to stop and talk to fans and answer questions about the lions.
His is a void that will not be filled, that is for sure.

He cut to the chase and didn't put out articles with alot of fluff. Sure, he bought into some stuff like most homer fans do but that was also one of the things that made him able to relate to the fans. More writers need to be like him - no agenda, personable, straight laced. RIP Killer

Did Tom Kowalski REALLY not go to the game, or did the spirit of Tom Kowalski just tell Mitch Albom that he planned not to go, and then Albom wrote the article before the game?

There are far, far better articles written about Killer than this piece of typical Albom tripe.
