OT- golson transferring from ND
ESPN says he is transferring. He would have been a nice get if we didnt have Ruddock already. Maybe we can get both :)

I bet he lands at a school much easier than ND or Michigan.
when he got out of the water. The whole front of his body must have looked like BK's face in the pictures below.
if he got out of the water
FTFY
north of South Bend. I was confused, until now, about that purple glow in the sky to the south all morning.

Well he is a quarterback, which is pretty much the only qualification necessary to field Michigan interest right now.
Seriously, why all the transfers under Kelly? This probably a PT thing right?

This may have something to do with it.
I could see him down there or LSU. He's from SEC country, so it's likely he ends up down south.
CBS Sports has the statement he released here in Fornelli's piece - LINK. Part of the rationale, as expected, may have been projected playing time. Regarding his status as a starter:
That status changed at the end of the season when Malik Zaire started Notre Dame's Music City Bowl victory over LSU. Golson appeared in the game, but Zaire received the bulk of the playing time, leading to speculation that Golson could transfer after graduating in the spring.
It will be interesting to see where he ends up. NBC was speculating that Texas might not be a bad spot for Golson, but they also believe the SEC to be an unlikely destination for him as well.

Golson > Rudock as a QB and that's not even close.
Because of his inferior TD:INT ratio or because of his lack of academic integrity?

As we have seen many other announcements from other schools regarding transfers, I wonder if we will face attrition? There is some smoke out there right now, but nothing concrete
Could we some additions/subtractions? I know WR is a concern and we haven't heard much more about it.
Wilton Speight just tweeted that he is not transferring. I say that because his name was being thrown around in the past couple of days a likely candidate in recent rumblings.
Thanks.
I would go to LSU or Florida State.
LSU is the best fit and a big concern for them as well.
but I don't see him at UM, and frankly, I don't want to see any ND player wearing the winged helmet.
Saw that on 247. I'm sure the SEC will overlook their own bylaws to accomodate it.
SEC bylaw 14.1.15.1, part d, clarifies the conference’s rules for graduate student exceptions: They may receive financial aid, practice and compete … so long as “the student-athlete has not been subject to official university or athletics department disciplinary action at any time during enrollment at any previous collegiate institution.”
Probably just say academic fraud doesn't fall under this. He didn't shoot anyone!
