Anyone else watching on ESPN?
Woke up at 7AM ready to start packing for a day at the beach (Delaware State Seashore Park) but have been rained out.
It's just as gloomy in Maryland as it looks at Royal Lytham.
Agree. He's been pretty solid on the first two holes.
Scott is going to be putting a lot of pressure on him, though.
The weather is just starting to look like it should for a British Open. Now if only the course were dryer. I think if the course gets windy, it favors Tiger and the stinger that he loves to hit
I don't know who's hair is better, John Stamos circa Full House or Denard
GO BLUE
Has it been that long Tiger was such a dominating force at the majors?
Bogey-par-bogey. Annnnnnd done.
Tiger is striking the ball well again but has made a couple bogeys. Lets see if he can calm down and make a few birdies. I'm also starting to wonder if his game plan is too conservative. He's leaving himself over 200 yards to the green on nearly every hole. If sneds and Scott don't fall back he's going to have to get more aggressive if he wants to win. It should be fun to watch.

Tiger struggling. Man I can't stand the long putters like what Scott uses - just seems wrong
I got the shotgun. You got the briefcase. It's all in the game though, right?
It won't be too long before they are banned by the PGA.

I hope Brandt Snedeker can pull away from the pack today. I'd really like to see him take the trophy.
Snedeker drops a shot; 1st bogie of the tourney for him. Impressive.
Dang that was a nice putt by Tiger!
Let's see what he has for the par 5.
Tiger making his move now
Tiger on fire right now!
I got the shotgun. You got the briefcase. It's all in the game though, right?
Snedeker just needs to relax. He is over correcting his swing. Adam Scott is untouchable right now. His to lose IMO.
Yeah Scott is a machine out there right now.
He would need a Vandevelde-esque implosion to lose the Claret jug.
Anyone see Sergio Garcia hit that dude in the forehead with a drive yesterday? It was hilarious in a "I feel really bad for the guy" kinda way.
Strive to win. If you lose....win.
Tiger played meeeeeh.. for some reason I can't like Adam Scott using that putter though...
It would have been great to see Tiger and Adam Scott in the first pairing tomorrow. Scott has Tiger's old swing, Tiger's old coach, and Tiger's old caddy. That caddy, Steve Williams, is fueled by an all-consuming hatred of his former boss. It would have made for great theater.
There still could be some theater tomorrow. Scott never paid for a single mistake on Saturday, while those around him paid dearly for theirs. Golf has a way of paying days like that back on both ends. If Tiger is close and Scott has a couple of bad holes, I can easily see it going sideways for Scott.
If I was told I had to put money down on anyone for Sunday, though, it would be Graeme McDowell. He has a lot of momentum going into tomorrow, and has the crowd on his side. Also, he knows what it's like to win a major.
At any rate, the wind is supposed to make it look more like The Open Championship tomorrow. It should be a lot of fun.
I'm interested to see how Snedeker reacts to being on top on the weekend. Seemed solid on the first hole.
