At least no one was hurt. Sometimes (okay, all of the time), I am amazed at the ridiculous that goes on out there...
According to the article -- though sober enough to make a phone call after getting out of the car afterward. My guess would be a combination of using her cell phone and being somewhat drunk.

Sounds plausible. In equally sane news:

You take something perfectly functional (though unremarkable), and you get it briefly, if ever so slightly, airborne... only to see it crash at full speed into a barrier everyone else saw coming, leaving you with nothing but a big-ass pile of flaming rubble that someone else will have to clean up.
Funny, but Illinois was a disaster when Zook arrived. A better analogy might be that he took an old junker, spent thousands fixing it up, and then promptly drove into a tree.
generlizations of a ethnic heritage ususally will get you neg'd. If I could I would just for that. But, the video post was funny as hell.

Probably blamed "sudden acceleration", a sticky foot pedal, loose floor mats, etc. Couldn't possibly be "doofus at the wheel," could it?
