OT - Gisele Bundchen to retire
http://us.cnn.com/2015/04/16/living/gisele-bundchen-final-runway-walk-f…
Gisele Bundchen, who you may know as the wife of Super Bowl Hero and 100% Certified Michigan Man Tom Brady, is retiring from modelling in order to spend more time with her family.
Transitioning from a dual- to single- income family is a difficult choice with both benefits and drawbacks. I wish them the best of luck in navigating what are sure to be challenging days ahead.
I hope they can survive on 1 income. Praying for the kids...
I doubt that will happen anytime soon....
This is about as good as we can get in the post-sexybits era.
Damn you Google Ads income. What this thread could have been...
for their "don't be evil" model. At least the Europeans are starting to go after them.
Puritanical assholes.
Oh boy . . .
Is this your 5th username? I mean really dude, you will be banned within the hour. Why not make it for good, and actually do something productive with your life.
Did someone with multiple usernames just call out someone else for having multiple usernames?
Why do you have such big brow bones man?
walking around wearing clothes?
Awesome.

No, walking around wearing no clothes.
I think this calls for a suspension of the no naughty bits rule, no?
Her loyal subjects don't plan on telling her she's not wearing any....
I'm sure that the first couple of New England have no investments and will simply have to depend on the fortunes of her husband going forward and later the kindness of strangers.
I came to troll and satisfy my sick pathetic desires, but now I am saddened by this blog and to hear this news.
She's retiring from runway modeling, not giving up working altogether.
that you can even call what she does "working". Put this on. Stand over there. Walk 15 steps, turn around, walk 15 more steps.
Not exactly slaving away in a coal mine.
Its work. First of all the competition is extremely fierce. They send aspiring models on countless cattle calls for 'auditions' and its not easy to get picked. Then you have to get up extremely early every day for shoots and fitings, get made up, stand around in various poses etc...not to mention the physical sacrifices needed for their bodies to stay fit. These ladies work.
all the time spent on the casting couch.
That's Mrs. Brady you're talking about.
Make this spreadsheet. Write that TPS report. Get coffee, turn around, take this memo off the printer, return to desk.
Most American workers aren't slaving away in coal mines. She has a good job no doubt, but it clearly fits into any reasonable definition of "work".
And her job has a requirement that she stay fit. Unlike the rest of us office drones...
"Retiring" only from the runway. She has another 30-40 years left of product endorsements, public appearances, possible books etc.
Not /s
That guy would be concerned, for entirely different reasons than mine.
I hear Brit McHenry will be looking for work soon?
it wasn't much of a second income anyway. . .
I didn't know you could retire from being a hottie.
All I can say is that I would attempt to model for $47 million in a year too, but aside from maybe my wife reassuring me that I do not look all the comical, there is no way at all it would ever happen. You're definitely doing something right when you can make that sort of money in an extremely competitive environment.

Don't sell yourself short. Afterall, George Costanza was a hand model and Kramer was an underwear model. If they can do it, anyone can.
Some were just born lucky, my friends.

So, how exactly does one go about meeting a Brazilian supermodel?
Win the Super Bowl for starters.
What if Tom loses his job? I'm not so sure this is a good idea... think of the children!
