murder a dry cleaner as well>?

the Seinfeld reference was really "Pinkus", but there is not enough video evidence to overturn the initial play. Therefore, the joke stands as played....

What is he doing getting pulled over at 10:15 PM?
Must have been hitting up the happy hour and drunk as a skunk. I thought college coaching was an 80-100 hour a week job????

Well, if your happy hour is from 9-10 pm then that probably is an 80-100 hour a week job.

I worked a ~90 hour / week job for 2.5 years (banking) and I can think of two instances where I was able to get ouf of the office before 10 PM on a Mon-Thurs night. Neither of those times would it have been possible for me to consume enough alcohol to get a DUI by 10:15.

Well good for you. Just because you couldn't do it doesn't mean someone else can't pull it off.

A real drunk doesn't wait to leave work to start drinkin'.
November 17th, 2011 at 4:02 PM ^
That's true. But Saturday and Sunday are just as long of work days for college coaches as well. So working 7am - 9 pm every day of the week makes for 98 hours.
I know that in banking you work weekends as well but it's not every weekend and it's often shorter days on the weekend.

A couple months ago, I was pulled over for a seatbelt violation at about 9:45PM on a Saturday night in the middle of downtown Ann Arbor . I made the mistake of telling the officer that I had two beers at a friend's house, and he made me do the full slate of field sobriety tests right there on a busy sidewalk. Kind of embarrassing, especially because I blew like a .035 and was obviously not intoxicated.

Pinkel was pickled!

if you dont have character, you don't have anything. I know even people of good character can make mistakes and humility and a remorseful attitude go a long way in forgiving them. But stuff like this is does not help.

It is wierd that every state deals with DWI/ DUII differently. I know in Oregon, a person being arrested for DUII is taken to the station, goes through the breath test and is then cited and released to someone else. I find it weird that he had to pay for the ticket of DWI before being released. And what is suspicion of DWI? He was either DWI or not, and since he was cited for it he must have been.

Too many people lose lives because of drunk drivers. He should be severely punished. Maybe not fired, but severely punished...
